Naka, I figured out that last upgrade. Your deflection ricochets shots upward. Use the snail below the upgrade to ricochet a shot into the first crystal and then eat the hit on the second.
Naka, if I may suggest. You have a reflector that makes snail shots go up. And a snail in that puzzle room. With a crystal on the ceiling. Perhaps a well timed reflect could open the way. Thank you for playing these games. They are super cute.
If you give a robot a kitty, he's going to want a puppy, and if you give him a puppy, he's going to want a fishy, (and if you give him a fishy he's going to want a birdie?) This would all be so much easier if he wanted a cookie. I know how that chain of events works.
That bomb upgrade you couldn't get, the answer seemed pretty obvious to me. There was that one snail down the bottom, and you should be able to reflect a shot up to that 1st crystal up the top, then eat the hit from the 2nd crystal to get the upgrade.
To get that last Bomb upgrade, you'll have to reflect the snail's shots to hit the crystal up there, and then just pass through the second one shielded.
The way to get the last bomb upgrade is to let the snail shoot at you, then throw out the shield under the crystal. The snails bullet will hit the crystal and break the crystal. Now you can get Robots last transformation! Your able to throw three bombs!!!!!
If killing one dude makes your life infinitely easier, doesn't that mean killing one dude makes your life equally easier as killing several? Infinity remains infinity even if you multiply it by ten.
So, yuo have a thing that reflect snail shots... snails that destroy crystals, and a passage barred by 1 too many crystals... why not reflect the snail's shot into the crystal for massive bomb-count-upgradage?
What if you have to reflect a gunk shot from the snail below it up against the first crystal gem so you can eat a hit on the second one to get the powerup?
Robot wants all the things. 9:18 Shot in the face, you say??? Ooh, a shield. Those are always nice. I thought flailing was how everyone swam. lol Wow, that fish is very bullet hell-ish. Ahh, death warping. Good times. Oh man, Absolutely Nothing! That box boss was ridiculous. lol 33:23 Maybe use that reflection thing to destroy that crystal? I think I saw a snail down there. OMG Kitty causing all sorts of trouble. lol
man, i know i played this as a kid, but i can't remember any of the beginning of this ... maybe even the rest of the game idk yet tho ... but i vividly remember robot wants kitty and puppy
I guess the only way to get to that powerup is to take a hit and be really fast, because you are invincible for a fairly short amount of time when you lose your shield. Could you try that?
Naaakaaaa, the reflector~ I saw it only reflect shots up. for that upgrade you didn't know how to get, there's a mob on the ground. you reflect the mob's shot up at the first one crystal, and eat the 2nd.
16:20 - Personally I'd prefer a cute angler myself. 23:20 - "Just what do you think you are doing, Naka? I know that you and Ogre were planning to disconnect me, and I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen." 25:22 - "Let's see what's in the box! Nothing! Absolutely nothing! *Stupid! You're so stupid!*"
All you literally need to do to beat Pal 1000 is to stand on the silver blocks and die your bombs. When he starts flashing, use the reflector power up and the bullets will go past you and won't hurt you. Their momentum is too much to turn around and hit you from behind, so just do that, and ten seconds later, he's gone.
Man this game I abseolutely love! I still think Robot Wants Ice Cream is a little bit better but this one's not far behind at all. It definitely has the best soundtrack in the series and the creepy setting with the chill and charming music is great. I loved the whole idea with these chards as well.
I played this game this Monday, it was pretty fun. In-game time was around 34 minutes. I'm not sure if I got all the crystals, but I got most of them at least. I'm not sure about actual time. The most I died in was the PAL-1000 fight. The water area was tough, too. (6:07) I agree, but their projectile is more of like a laser ball... You know? *Lasers*?
(6:42) Really? When I went to that place, it was pretty OK. You rarely die by the crystals, they're kind of out of reach, unless you do it on purpose. (6:53) Oh, that's how you get those crystals down there. Darnit! (13:11) YEE. (17:36) I was so pissed when I realized refract meant reflect. x/ I had to go through "that" part of the game with timing and the bubble shield.
(21:58) I didn't beat Battle Bat and I missed the Multibomb this Monday. (22:42) TROUBle? (28:38) That's what I did too. I think you can also do that in his first form. (29:55) You still could; throw a bomb on the red block and enter from left. (32:32) Seems like missed it too. You could've magneted from below. (33:04) Same here. Though I think you could reflect the snails shots there.
(34:26) Core, not case. The case is that part that makes metallic sounds. (35:04) I'd call it a shake or a shock. Either way, flash is usually light. (36:20) Huh, when I tried to reflect that, it didn't work. Odd. (39:21) That actually made me sad when I first played this game. I wonder if this game has a super duper secret, like Kitty and the next one.
So I come home, figure, yeah, I'll sit down, eat raw noodles, and watch Naka play Transformers. On the way over to my saved playlists, I go past my subscriptions page. Top video. Gets some juice, sits down. Oh yeah.
HOW MANY SEQUELS DOES THIS SERIES HAVE.- im enjoying it, i just wanna know how many more of these are there, and are there enough to just make a solid LP of it XD
This series has a total of six games. Robot Wants Kitty, Robot Wants Puppy, Robot Wants Fishy and Robot Wants Ice Cream are the original four and the ones that can be played on the internet. There's also Robot Wants Y and Robot Wants Justice only available on the steam version
Welp, comments have posted the answer already, so I guess I'll just say that these games are so charming with how simple things are, with cute little attentions to detail like that flailing about to swim deal. xD
I know it was five years ago, but YOU REFLECT THE SNAIL SHOT TO TAKE OUT THE CRYSTAL!!! YOU'RE LITERALLY TALKING ABOUT REFLECT BEING THE ONLY OTHER THING YOU HAVE!!!
Naka, I figured out that last upgrade. Your deflection ricochets shots upward. Use the snail below the upgrade to ricochet a shot into the first crystal and then eat the hit on the second.
Been wanting to know how that worked for 10 years thanks.
I remember playing these games in my early childhood. Brings back a wave of nostalgia
Naka, if I may suggest. You have a reflector that makes snail shots go up. And a snail in that puzzle room. With a crystal on the ceiling. Perhaps a well timed reflect could open the way. Thank you for playing these games. They are super cute.
Yeah, that's the only way to get it.
For that last upgrade you couldn't get, you need to reflect the snail's shot up into the first crystal blocking your path.
This series has been amazing thanks Naka cannot wait to see the next one
If you give a robot a kitty, he's going to want a puppy, and if you give him a puppy, he's going to want a fishy, (and if you give him a fishy he's going to want a birdie?)

I do like how this game is devided into teleporty sections, and each section has a name.
This series is pretty great, but I must say the music is the best of it. Kitty has the best music, though.
If killing one dude makes your life infinitely easier, doesn't that mean killing one dude makes your life equally easier as killing several? Infinity remains infinity even if you multiply it by ten.
Crowley9 Suddenly, MATH!
Naka, pretty sure to get that one upgrade you need to block the snails bullet because it bounces them up.
You have to reflect a shot from that snail to destroy the first crystal, then eat a hit to get past the second.

Aww, I miss throwing the cat and letting it wreck everything.
MissingnoTheGreat Me too.
The clock isnt't faster some time is added each time you die
You know what this game reminds me of? Pocket Bomberman for the Game Boy.
I bet someone said this already but you reflect the snail shot up to the one you eat a hit at first
technically, theres five robot wants games, theres robot wants banner or something on jayisgames or something like that
***** Sadly, the game is "no longer available", and doesn't seem to have been put up anywhere else.
NakaTeleeli Robot wants it all will fix that problem. Just wait till it comes out later this month.
man, i know i played this as a kid, but i can't remember any of the beginning of this ... maybe even the rest of the game idk yet tho ... but i vividly remember robot wants kitty and puppy

Yess! I am loving this series!

"Trouble, with a capital troub!"
So, TROUBle?

Klaty This one doesn't, unlike puppy and ice cream. (the secret thing)
So I come home, figure, yeah, I'll sit down, eat raw noodles, and watch Naka play Transformers. On the way over to my saved playlists, I go past my subscriptions page. Top video. Gets some juice, sits down. Oh yeah.
I didn't thought crystal cave boss was final
Saw that ending coming from a mile away.
man.... my first playthrough i didnt know that snails could break crystals.... that was hell
HOW MANY SEQUELS DOES THIS SERIES HAVE.- im enjoying it, i just wanna know how many more of these are there, and are there enough to just make a solid LP of it XD

Shiro Hoshi Just one more, Robot wants Ice-Cream. There's an OP power-up there too, the Bananarang.
This series has a total of six games. Robot Wants Kitty, Robot Wants Puppy, Robot Wants Fishy and Robot Wants Ice Cream are the original four and the ones that can be played on the internet. There's also Robot Wants Y and Robot Wants Justice only available on the steam version
