- Asakusa became empty, but recently getting more and more people on the street. It's Silver-week (long holiday in Japan), however, compare to last year, still really less, but getting better for sure.
In this video, I introduced how the Asakusa Street looks like as of 18th (Fri) Sep, 2020. Showing how to get to Nakamise Dori from Asakusa station. I also tried Street food, Senbei (NureOkaki), Mochi (Soy sauce, Sesame beans), and Asakusaya Menchi Katsu (minced meat cutlet).

Another great video, Rion. It’s so interesting to see ‘Corona-era’ Asakusa. It’s like, the same...but totally different. Actually, without all the foreign tourists, Nakamise looks more a tourist street in my area! (伊勢のおかげ横丁, etc.)

First place I have visited in Japan, know the place like the back of my hand. Been here numerous times, I lost count. Whenever I'm in Tokyo, I always stay in Asakusa, precisely near or around Don Quijote. I have never seen Sensoji Temple not bursting with tourists. Lucky you, no overcrowding.

I really like how you walk with the camera to your side so I can actually see what is going on inside the buildings as you walk by them. When somebody just focuses on themselves and we see the background or if they face the camera forward and we see the street I'm not really catching a side view.
