歌曲簡介
歌曲《There was a time》開頭運用清脆的琴聲和輕柔的人聲相互交織，氣氛如夢似幻。歌詞開首憶述一段過去的時光。那時上帝的榮光普照全地，大自然風景美不勝收，宛如壯麗的夢境。可花開花敗，彩雲易散，美妙的事物總有逝去之時。從前的光景不禁令人緬懷，卻又感到悵然若失。隨後，旋律再一次響起，讓人從夢中醒來。夢醒之時發現那天堂般的美景已然消散。艷美花卉，綠草如茵，均成過去。我們無法挽回逝去的事物，但那景象、上帝的榮光依然存在心中，恆久不變。與其沉溺於悲痛之中，歌詞鼓勵人們在所剩之物從中尋找力量，亦即接受時間的流逝及著眼於現今和未來。
