You guys need to do some research. Tenors are supposed to have darker and heavier voices than the females, they are men. She is soprano, she sang the part exactly as it was supposed be sung for the role of Christine. She was phenomenal. Also none of the men were opera singers, just musical Theatre singers, not the same.
the four male vocalists were the original phantoms of the play on their respected leg of shows. The oldest guy was Simon Bowman, the original guy who played Chris on Miss Saigon with the original kim, Lea Salonga in 1989.
she's actually sick that day so she could've done better if she's well.but its still really good. the guys are the past actors who played the phantom. You should watch her Don't cry for me Argentina and Purple Rain please :)
like someone said below, she sang it exactly as she was supposed to. Phantom has been on the stage for 34 years, and has made something like 6 *billion* dollars. you don’t mess with that kind of perfection 😉
Please react to Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo singing Phantom of The Opera. Also, if you want a great Phantom performance to watch, I recommend the 25th Anniversary at the Royal Albert Hall starring the two leads mentioned above. It’s wonderful!
The 4 men are currently few of our well known tenor/opera singers.... They are Ramin Karimloo, John Owens -Jones, Simon Bowman and Earl Carpenter. Karimloo is the youngest there, half Canadian half Iranian. And Owens - Jones is the one you liked or said that was good.
John Owen Jones ,is from Wales ,if you would UA-cam him singing “Music of the night “ for “Children in need” you will see him in full Phantom makeup . You won’t be disappointed 💕❤️💕 Simon Bowman is the best and first Chris in Miss Saigon, with Lea Salonga
They aren't opera singers (and most of them are actually baritones - not tenors). They are all four well known musical theater actors and have all played the Phantom in the stage show in London. I can recommend looking up the 30th anniversary of Phantom in London too - some GREAT performances there.
They don't know what they're talking about. They're absolutely clueless about vocal pedagogy. They claim she "sang in falsetto at the end" when she was in fact using a fully engaged operatic head voice.
Don't mind the opinion of the girl. She's always like that. Insecure about talented female artists who sings better than her. M-angel is a frustrated average singer
One of my favorite performance from my favorite musical. My fave phantoms are Ramin Karimloo (far left) and John Owen Jones (far right). Simon Bowman (right of Nicole) was the original Chris opposite Lea Salonga (original Kim) in the musical Miss Saigon. You should check out their performance of "Sun and Moon" in the Wogan show in 1989 when they were much younger. Also my favorite Christine is Sierra Boggess. Check her out performing "Phantom of the Opera" with Ramin Karimloo and "Think of Me". Yes, Nicole's father is Filipino. Her surname at birth is Valiente. She's using her stepfather's surname Scherzinger when he adopted her.
The 4 guys are veteran singers who have played this role for years so they’ll obviously sound amazing. Nicole, while also classically trained, obviously isn’t as trained given that she switched to pop music. She sounded congested in the first few choruses but did better as she went on. Why are you asking her to belt when the song is supposed to be sung classically lol the guys are belting, but Nicole has to sing it in head voice since it’s classical singing
Sierra Bogess has the best phantom of the opera performances of all time. She performs it in French and English and she performed it on broadway. She's also Ariel in the little mermaid on broadway
The 4 men have all performed as Phantoms in the West End at some point. And they are just some of the big names in the musical theatre community. The first one who sang was John Owen-Jones, then Ramin Karimloo, then Simon Bowman, and the last who sang was Earl Carpenter. You guys should watch the 25th anniversary of Phantom of the Opera. It's a stage performance that's professionally shot. It's just phenomenal. Or try reacting to 'Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess sing Phantom of the Opera'. It's a taste of what the show is and is just pure amazingness all around.
7:24 She wasn't using falsetto. Nicole is clasically trained so she uses *head voice* most of the time even when singing pop. The role of Christine is supposed to be this shy girl who's unaware of her own talent so using a small volume output / dynamic (i.e. singing in piano) fits the character really well. It wouldn't make sense for her to belt out this song.
Ahh !,Simon Bowman ❤️❤️❤️,the third Phantom to sing Listen to him and Lea Salonga singing “Sun and moon” and “Last night of the world”as duets ,absolutely gorgeous. Simon ,singing “Why God”👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻The songs are from the 1989 musical Miss Saigon. Simon has played both Raoul and the Phantom, and Marius and Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. He was given the great honour of being the West End Phantom when the musical celebrated its 10th anniversary in 1996. Sadly,I haven’t found anything on UA-cam from the 10th anniversary,WestEnd show
The four male singers are (left to right) : Earl Carpenter, Ramin Karimloo, Simon Bowman and John Owens -Jones... They played the role of The Phantom on stages on Broadway and UK. The original role of the Phantom is Michael Crawford.. He and Karimloo are my favs... Please react to "Music of the Night" (Michael Crawford) and Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Bogges "Phantom of the Opera" at the Tony Awards... Perfection!!
I love all these musicals. Phantom, Madame Butterfly, Cats, Miss Saigon, Les Mis, etc. R&B ballads, pop music, etc are great but musicals hold a special place in my musical love.
FYI. Nicole has Filipino descent :) And the 4 guys are PRO theater actors :) who actually played the role of the phantom in different versions of the show.
But guys, The Phantom of The Opera is a musical. Some would say the most *famous & well known* musical to date. There are many songs from it, this just happens to most popular. (I love musicals & operas...) The 4 men represent the Phantoms and only Christine (Nicole) can see them. One of my fave musicals. Lloyd Webber's work is amazing on this composition!
Nope, filipino childrens did not undergo any vocal surgery or stuff like that to sing like a pro they are really just talented. In born. xD PS: Your theory could be true.
The man with the dark beard is my boy Ramin Karimloo. He played The Phantom in the 25th anniversary production at Royal Albert Hall. His performance was absolutely stunning. Here’s a video of him and Sierra Boggess performing that same song (The Phantom of the Opera Theme Song) at a reward show. ua-cam.com/video/8fKKiaSLLEY/v-deo.html And here is the recording from their actual performance in the theater. ua-cam.com/video/NgIp1OM6uHs/v-deo.html
M-Angel, Filipino kids don't undergo surgery to enhance their vocal ability, most of us are poor, we just love to sing. Almost every home has a videoke, when there are gatherings, parties, reunions there are always videokes. Actually belting in singing in the Philippines is quite a recent phenomena, it just started in the 90's because of the popularity of Regine V, Mariah, Celine & Whitney. I remember during the 80's and even in 70's or 60's we don't have beltings in our singing, but we already are suckers for love songs. Nowadays all kids are belting.
the four men are all previous phantoms. they all performed in the musical ( of course at different times). the one at the back with grey hair is the original phantom. the man who introduced them is the person responsible for this amazing musical Andrew Lloyd Webber. I don't know if you guys knew that or not. love your guys xxx
If you guys knew about being classically trained, women are not trained to belt. They are taught to use their head voice mainly. So whenever you hear an opera, the women will never belt. Classically, men are trained to belt and so that’s what they do in operas. Operas are written on the basis of classical standards. And naturally head voice won’t carry as much as a belt would. Great video👍🏽
How does he not know the song, it is imbedded in pop culture wether you have seen the musical or not! And the song plays on radio, been on loads of TV documentaries over the years among many other things Was last played on TV on at the: Platinum Queen's Platinum Jubilee this Summer! He is having you on surely!!!!!!! he has heard this before or was stranded on a desert island from birth till when this video was filmed. There is no way he has never heard this before! That would be like a friend of mine saying: he has never heard of Memory from the hit musical-CATS 🙄 Or that would be like me saying never heard the song: Defying Gravity from Wicked. I have never seen the musical but the song is in pop culture so no good excuse! My niece who is 3 knows the song, before we started playing it to her she saw the TV adverts for it a dozen times and was singing along! It is one of the most well known songs in the world in general I know this was posted over 3 + half years ago but come on!
I can't figure your first reaction to Ramin... It seems really negative and I don't understand why or how Also how are you guys vocal coaches? I couldn't imagine working with you guys. You both are so disrespectful. This is an extremely hard song to sing
Indeed the song has a creepy side to it. This song is sung in the first act of the musical when the Phantom escorts Christine by boat into his lair , sung as a duet by the characters. Best portrayal imo is by Ramin and Sierra. All of the guys in this vid have played the Phantom.
Yea that scene is iconic, and is known even if you have never seen the musical. Remember as a kid saw it on the TV adverts in UK and around the world-Classic!
It's not surprising that the men outshone Nicole bec this is their specialty, renowned experienced theatre actors who probably have played the phantom role in the west end before. Got to give Nicole credit for trying this
It’s musical theater ... The role of Christine which Nicole portrait here was spot on. She’s supposed to be fragile and uncertain about what man to choose, besides “Phantom” plays in a time where women had almost no rights at all ... of course they (women) would behave scared and timid in that particular situation.
You should've done a VS with this and BIRDY...another Pinay singer who won a singing competition in Taiwan and now making waves there.:-). You should check her out.
i just can"t help it now. you m_angel just gave me a good laugh with ''my milkshake brings all ... '' i was way to serious listening girl haahahhaahha....
You guys need to do some research. Tenors are supposed to have darker and heavier voices than the females, they are men. She is soprano, she sang the part exactly as it was supposed be sung for the role of Christine. She was phenomenal. Also none of the men were opera singers, just musical
Theatre singers, not the same.
Diaab Nasir Earl Carpenter sounds far more classical than the rest.
Sierra bogges matched the same energy as Ramin her voice was just as powerful as the men, Nicole clearly has a pop voice.
She's actually fighting a very heavy cold during this performance. It's in the rehearsal footage somewhere.
Nikki Lee find it!
It's so hard to sing when you are sick.
She was not. Where did you get that?
@@polyprinz she was she actually spoke about it in a interveiw
That was one of the most beautiful performances I've ever seen. I have heard her music before but I had no idea she could sing so well
Dani Dallas She’s a classically trained light lyric soprano. She’s awesome.
Try to watch phantom of de opera by birdy
the four male vocalists were the original phantoms of the play on their respected leg of shows. The oldest guy was Simon Bowman, the original guy who played Chris on Miss Saigon with the original kim, Lea Salonga in 1989.

She was not sick. Let's not make up stories.
She sang it way you're supposed to... with her big part coming at the end....& she absolutely nailed it; and remember it's 4 against 1!
like someone said below, she sang it exactly as she was supposed to. Phantom has been on the stage for 34 years, and has made something like 6 *billion* dollars. you don’t mess with that kind of perfection 😉

Don't forget Hadley Fraser who also did a wonderful job at playing Raoul 🙇♂️❤
Hannah P.S Who could forget Hadley? Ramin named one of his sons after him XD.
@@indigodragon0613 I know 😂 just wanted to make sure
Yes please
We want more Nicole Scherzinger !!
Plz react to the versatility of Nicole schezinger she's one of my favorite singers and she's one of the most talented singers ever
Brandon Forest I think she's the best live vocalist from the 21st Century!
MY MILKSHAKE BRINGS ALL THE PHANTOMS TO THE OPERA
+Wiccan 😂😂😂👍
The 4 men are currently few of our well known tenor/opera singers.... They are Ramin Karimloo, John Owens -Jones, Simon Bowman and Earl Carpenter. Karimloo is the youngest there, half Canadian half Iranian. And Owens - Jones is the one you liked or said that was good.
+Dey Lacro thank you for the detailed info
John Owen Jones ,is from Wales ,if you would UA-cam him singing “Music of the night “ for “Children in need” you will see him in full Phantom makeup .
You won’t be disappointed 💕❤️💕
Simon Bowman is the best and first Chris in Miss Saigon, with Lea Salonga
They aren't opera singers (and most of them are actually baritones - not tenors). They are all four well known musical theater actors and have all played the Phantom in the stage show in London.
I can recommend looking up the 30th anniversary of Phantom in London too - some GREAT performances there.
This is kind of late but, Ramin is fully Iranian he just moved to canada when he was very young, hence him being Iranian-Canadian
THE SECOND GUY WHO SANG ( THE ONE WITH THE BEARD) WAS RAMIN KARIMLOO. GOSH I LOVE HIM SO BAD! THE BEST PHANTOM FOR ME
And he's Canadian!
BLANK WHITE SCREEN ikr?
How could you say she was screaming?? I honestly dont get it.
Daniel That was a high E or F. Exactly what this song demands.
Daniel they act like she is a avrage singer..... but really she is one of thr best vocalists
They don't know what they're talking about. They're absolutely clueless about vocal pedagogy. They claim she "sang in falsetto at the end" when she was in fact using a fully engaged operatic head voice.

bryantpark88 Yes yes yes and YES! They need to react to Sierra and Ramin performing together!
YES! THEY NEED TO REACT TO RAMIN AND SIERRA!!!
Well said 🙏 🙏 🙏
"Now she's just screaming" y'all being serious? :/
You should check out Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo's (the bearded one in this video) performance of this song.

Lmao that "it's one of my favorite halloween songs" 😅 It's from The Phantom of the Opera- an opera- there's a book- A CLASSIC.
Sierra Bogess has the best phantom of the opera performances of all time. She performs it in French and English and she performed it on broadway. She's also Ariel in the little mermaid on broadway

Those men are five of the actors to have played the role of The Phantom in it's now 30 plus year history.

React to Nicole Scherzinger’s diva mash-up! On X Factor singing a mash-up of Whitney’s I’m Every Woman and Aretha Franklin’s Respect.
It’s so funny how no one seeems to know they’re all former phantoms lol
Ahh !,Simon Bowman ❤️❤️❤️,the third Phantom to sing
Listen to him and Lea Salonga singing “Sun and moon” and “Last night of the world”as duets ,absolutely gorgeous.
Simon ,singing “Why God”👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻The songs are from the 1989 musical Miss Saigon.

She sang it perfectly
You need to watch the phantom of the opera! It more than just for Halloween.
It is amazing!
All those men have played the phantom at some point.
The guys is amazing ❤
The four male singers are (left to right) : Earl Carpenter, Ramin Karimloo, Simon Bowman and John Owens -Jones... They played the role of The Phantom on stages on Broadway and UK. 1 John Owen Jones
2 Ramin Karimloo
3 Simon Bowman
4 Earl Carpenter
the men are: Earl Carpenter, Ramin Karimloo, John Owen Jones and Simon Bowman. they all played the phantom in the Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.
In the correct order:
1 John Owen Jones
2 Ramin Karimloo
3 Simon Bowman
4 Earl Carpenter
This greatly displays the difference between classical singing and opera
Nicole, Don't cry for me Argentina! One of her best!
I love the phantom of the opera so much and this performance is one of the best.
These guys all performed in the west end as ‘the Phantom’.
It's actually rock opera and this is my absolute favorite movie and play
The guy with the beard is Ramin Karimloo. His version of this song with Sierra Boggess is perfection!
Fun fact: out of the Phantoms, Ramin Karimloo was not classically trained before auditioning for musicals. But he slayed it!
OMG! The guys ALL played The Phantom at some point.
I guess Ovella haven't watched the Phantom of the Opera yet.
I love all these musicals. Phantom, Madame Butterfly, Cats, Miss Saigon, Les Mis, etc. R&B ballads, pop music, etc are great but musicals hold a special place in my musical love.

Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Cry For Me Argentina (Live) MY FAVORITE NICOLE PERFORMANCE IT GIVES ME GOOSIES ALL THE TIME

This song means so much for me, because I used to be the phantom of the opera :)
Nicole Scherzinger 😍😍
She sang those high notes for about a min, of course she had to save her voice lol
Waaaahhhh! I've missed your dynamics!!! You always catch the best and weirdest things! Haha Yayayoom!
the most disrespectful and shallow vocal coaches i've seen in a while
None of them are vocal coaches. That girl reacting can't even sing a single damn note.
My girl is amazing❤️
Chris! I mean Simon Bowman! Love that guy! That's a different Nicole out there.. she's awesome 😁
Did you see the videos of Simon and Lea singing together at Lea's 40th anniversary, in showbusiness?
They still have the magic ♥️🌟♥️
You should react to Nicole Scherzinger singing Don't Cry for Me Argentina! She was majestic!
Nope, filipino childrens did not undergo any vocal surgery or stuff like that to sing like a pro they are really just talented. In born. xD
PS: Your theory could be true.
+TelevisionEnthusiast she was kidding lok
+Music Game News Ah. Okay.
Is vocal surgery even a thing?
But I think Morisette Amon had an illness on her throat when she was younger and she now sings amazingly, so I think your theory is possible.
Lol. They were obviously joking. Vocal surgeries don’t make you better at singing lol wth😂😂😂
The man with the dark beard is my boy Ramin Karimloo. He played The Phantom in the 25th anniversary production at Royal Albert Hall. His performance was absolutely stunning.

Nicole Scherzinger Don’t Cry for me Argentina please !!
Please react to "ASAP: Morissette, Sarah, and KZ fuel the party with their incredible voices" you'll enjoy it for sure.
M-Angel, your reactions in this video are really funny and cute.. You also made some moves.. hehe
I love this performance! I skipped to the high notes because I knew you were going to lose your shit 😂😂!
Love from UK xxx
It’s musical theater ... The role of Christine which Nicole portrait here was spot on. She’s supposed to be fragile and uncertain about what man to choose, besides “Phantom” plays in a time where women had almost no rights at all ... of course they (women) would behave scared and timid in that particular situation.
Most of them were also Jean val Jean in led mix.... And yes I can't spell
Valjean, Valjean, Valjean and
Javert 😉😉🌟🌟🌟🌟
I already knew this reaction was gonna be shit when they called it a "Halloween" song 🙄
“Uh!! ... That is some acting!”
Favorite part of the video 😂
She didn't "go into falsetto" ... she was singing in a fully engaged operatic head voice. You guys are clueless. Wow.
The most underrated singer of ever
My favorite song 😍😍😍
That Little last ton Whas Little bit of D8 I think that wistle ton
Overall Beautiful brilliant wow wow wow !!!! 😍😍 Hands Up 🙏🙏🙏
plss react purple rain by nicole scherzinger and matt terry, tia

Charlon Campo I love Purple Rain she sang One For The Boys better but of course BOTH are awesome!
not sure if you have already but if you liked Nicole, can you react to her performance of Don't Cry for me Argentina? It's near perfect
See Michael Crawford Sara Brightman from the 1st Phanton of the Opera about 1988
M-Angel you look so pretty like your style.
+Angel Canono thank you ❤️
Mariah didn’t get surgery for her nodes. She’s too scared it might cause even more damage.
she's back!!! welcome back m-angel!!! where u've been?
You should've done a VS with this and BIRDY...another Pinay singer who won a singing competition in Taiwan and now making waves there.:-). You should check her out.

Ovela is the guy and M-angel is the girl
I believe it’s a musical, not opera. Might be wrong though.
The fact this was called a “Halloween” song says everything about the lack of knowledge in the reaction 🙄
Please react to her purple rain performance on X factor !!!!
Gosh, I love il divo, but never saw their performance before, only music HAHAHA.
