This is my bus journey by India's first intercity electric bus (Prasanna Travels) from Pune to Mumbai.
I booked this bus online from Prasanna Purple website. You can also book this bus from certain websites like Easemytrip, Paytm where it specifically mentions (Electric bus). The bus departure time was 7:45 am from Wakad and to reach Mumbai by 10:20 am. The bus halted at Nishi Sagar hotel where you had other multi axle buses waiting.
Bus Experience: The bus was quiet when still and its a bit similar to Volvo and Scania but a bit quieter. However the side indicators are really loud and can irritate passengers. The pickup is a bit slower but then it gains speed quickly from there. The max speed i guess was 90 kmph as it would beep every time the driver went near it and the beep would stop only once the speed was reduced. Three cameras on the bus, one on each side and one on the dashboard. The bus reached on time as well. Overall a good journey.
