I would love the 502 if not for the low rise. Is a mid rise so much to ask for? It seems all the other Jean companies have a Slim and/or Taper Fit with a Mid Rise except Levi's.

I've owned 508s, 522s, 510s, 511s, and the 512s are my favorite pair of jeans. They have a smaller leg opening than the current 510s so it definitely has a nice taper.

Those fits are way too tight and unflattering for the model used in this video. The 511 looked the best.

Tried on a pair of 512s for the first time today and was blown away.
I've always had a love/hate relationship with 511s...the difference in fit between any single pair is ridiculously huge, and more often than not I have to try on multiple pairs just to find one good fitting set. And while I want to like 510s, they're always too skin tight on me.
But when I tried on the 512s today? Magic. Perfect fit with the perfect leg taper. I'm a skinny dude, 5'11 and about 160 lbs and these are the best fitting Levi's jeans I've owned already by far.
