We also love both of these sounds and it's so Thomas that he heard the Pilgrims back in the 90's and knew that their music would blend with his piano style!
I've loved both Pink Martini and surf rock since the 90's (thanks Pulp fiction sdtk for introducing another gen to Dick Dale and the Del Tones). I never would have imagined these two sounds and styles together but honestly it's 🔥🔥.

@@t05393 Thanks for the info! When I hear an electric piano I always assume it is a Rhodes. Also the piano on Dick Dale tracks is pretty accomplished - I definitely couldn't play Miserlou.

It was usually Wurlitzer or other electric pianos, like on Pipeline. Rhodes was more late 60s and 70s. See Theme from Taxi.
