You should also use some loctite threadlocker (blue liquid) on the center bolt threads and all of the smaller ones holding on the new wheel so they won't back out on you from use or vibration.
The steering wheel does come toward the driver slightly when you install the adapter. It's honestly not a difference that I've noticed or is uncomfortable. The deeper dish wheel would do the same, bring it forward slightly.
Unfortunately, There are no steering wheel that we have come across that include a score card holder. That may be an accessory that can be found on Amazon or eBay. If we find some, we will offer them in the future for our customers!
I am not sure which adapter would work for the evolution carts. If you’d like you can email us at sales@golfcartstuff.com and we can see if an existing adapter in the industry works for an Evolution.
Just tested on our Precedent. To remove the two fasteners in the back of the OE steering wheel I used a 5/16 (or 8mm). The key was finding something thin enough as the hole diameter isn’t large for most sockets. Once the face plate is off the bolt that goes down that steering column can be removed with a 5/8 or 15mm socket.
@@rickygomez7975I just used 5/16 socket that is the longer version about 2 inches long .. seems like it won’t fit in the hole but it does. Worked perfectly
No they do not! We basically have to use a mallet or a hammer and block to get some of those steering wheels off! The steering wheel filmed here was previously loosened up for that very reason :-)

How do you get the self canceling turn signals to work on the new wheel ?

That’s a great idea! Thanks for the comment, Keith!

Thanks, mine didn't want to come off I didn't want to break something pulling on it. After seeing this I was confident to just pull harder.
How about the Kandi golf cart , are these part interchangeable with this brand cart . Please let me know
We are unsure about the Kandi carts. They are so few and far between we haven’t had the chance to get our hands on one… yet 😏
Is there a way to get wires to the face of the steering wheel? With vehicles, they use a clock spring
Does this extend steering wheel to driver with adapter? and would you prefer a deeper dish wheel? Jus curious so many options.

For those that use their carts for golf do you have a clear scorecard holder that can be used with an updated steering wheel?

Do you know if it fits the evolution golf carts?

Nice video I’m gonna get paid from watching this tomorrow lol
Does anyone know the nut size for the Club Cart Precedent steering wheel faceplate? None of my nut drivers seem to work.

@@GOLFCARTSTUFFany recommendations on a skinny enough socket to fit?
@@rickygomez7975I had to get someone to machine my socket to fit

I can't find a Thin 5/16 socket that fits, so I am going to Grind a 5/16 Nut driver down with a Grinder.. It worked !!
Fyi...... NRG sells a quick release for the 6 hole steering wheels aswell as a wheel lock that spins so you cant steal it.
Absolutely! That’s a great option and we may carry that on our site soon!
Pretty steering wheel, but where do I put my score card?/?/??
Where do I find a steering wheel adapter?
good vid thx
I had the wheels slightly turned so the steering wheel is off center. Any advice on getting the adapter back off to line it up properly?
do it again
Got bolt off but wheel won't come off. Best way to get stuck wheel off
Club car steering wheels never come off that easy lol

What size do you need for the main bolt?
Bolt size varies based on manufacturer.
89 DS had to use a 3 jaw puller and an impact gun😂😂
Show how to remove old wheel! Once it's off like you anybody can replace!
It's beautiful until someone hand's you the score card.
Yeah right!!! lol. Try and pull off the old steering wheel like that. What a joke. You will probably need a puller.
