You can tell this isn't your buddies first rodeo! My wife and I always have at least 2-3 shore lunches in fall while crappie fishing. We just pull up on the bank, collect some drift wood and build a fire. We use cast iron pans when frying our fish. There is something sitting around a fire right off the main river channel and eating fresh caught fillet crappie fried. You need to do this more often. I know it is pain but it's really good content. Thanks for sharing.
Way to go John, you do the catching and thank goodness you have Chris to do the cooking ! LOL ! Good call on that big bass. Smaller ones are more tasty. Always be careful. Pap Blevins
That’s interesting that he used the hot sauce like that. I’ve never thought to do that.. ima keep it in the back of my mind for our annual spring time crappie fish fry though. Enjoyed the video John!
I want to pretend. 😂😂😂 All I do for now is dream about doing that. 😢😢. Telling myself Spring of the year, my life is going to change. And I'm gonna do this every month, at least. 🙏🙏. I just began with a Subscriber today awesome videos. Keep up the good work, stay safe. And God bless you always.
Awesome video as usual. Question. We are heading to pigeon forge Friday morning from Ontario Canada. We shoot outdoor videos as well and I plan on shooting some videos while I’m there. Are there quality public spots for bass near pigeon forge. Any help would be appreciated.
Best eating pan fish hands down. Love me some crappie. Andy's Red fish breading is so good on them. I tore em up this spring here in Indiana but fall hasn't been that great. Great vid 👍
John, I would love to see you and Richard Gene the fishing machine do a crappie/bass video.
crappie and perch gotta be some of the best tasting fish to fry up hands down!
Now try going after a walleye. In my opinion walleye are the best tasting fresh water fish you can eat!
Bro I needed the verse at the end of this video. I’ve had a rough patch spiritually lately. Thanks for the word.
Right off the tailgate 💯💯💯💯💯
John , There is nothing wrong with a mess of fresh Crappie fried up . Very Tasty. Thanks for sharing. God Bless You.

That is definitely the best kind of fish is right out of the water. Well done, you guys and the food looks amazing.
When you get a electric fillet knife, get a Bubba electric and battery operated, it’s the best one
that looks good, that batter seems different
I've been having people ask me to do catch and cook but I don't know how to clean fish or cook!!! 😂😂😂 that puts me out of the equation
Nice to see Chris in another video with you. I've been supporting his material too. And I would've let that big un go too. Go Dawgs.

It's too bad that there's no such thing as taste television, but I know it was great eating fresh fish as that was!🎣👍
Close enough" "I got it on video" lol
I remember eating white perch (crappie) a lot growing up around the Chattahoochie. ‘Remember them having a lot of little bones but very good meat.
Crappie are the finest of table fair. I think you need a retry on your recipe. Also fillet them, that's the only way to go
Get the bubba electric Fillet knife it’s the best
I don't think folks eat bass very often.
