Considering the caliber, distance & wind, I would say that is some mighty fine shooting Sam. Love the video as always and still really enjoy the 'fly-back' at the end. Thank you again, Mark and Sam for your dedication to producing quality content. 🇨🇦
Thank you sir, Cheers
Congratulations Sam for the great shots at this distance.
Thanks Man, Cheers
Seeing .223 Rem pushed to four times the range that some people say it's good for, is mind-boggling. Love watching you two work together and achieve amazing feats of marksmanship.
Thanks Man, glad you liked, cheers
I’d jump in with our roo shooter when he brought his fridge truck and a few hundred tags up just with my .223 stainless zikka- some standard rounds from the farm shop and I wasn’t missing many less than him with much heavier gear. Maybe it was the Rifle maybe it was the round but I could hit a dime up to 500 metres in light wind with front windscreen folded down bench resting at night with a spotty. Miss the farm life so much.
That is a long poke for a .223 Rem even with 90 grain projectiles. Well done Sam!
Thank Steve, Cheers
It's amazing, I was able 😄 to hit it well with that caliber
The girl’s a champ! Amazing teamwork as usual - shooting and spotting - and nailing it twice with a near- impossible wind. Way to go, Sam.
Cheers Man, glad you liked, thank you
That is awesome shooting Sam! I knew you could shoot as well as Mark...you did not disappoint....you two are legends!
Thanks Joel, Cheers
You could have picked a day with a tornado going through it may have added some velocity. Sam did a superb job Mark!!!!!!
Thank You Robin, glad you liked.
2800ft/s with a 90gn Bullet from a tiny 223 is no joke 😂 how crunchy was Bulletseating ;😜 and in these conditions well done Mark with loading and well done Sam at the Trigger. Allways nice to watch you both with these Videos, Greetings from Bavaria
All runs easy, just need to run the throat forward a little, Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork and modify the Magazin to have enough room ? Or habe you found one which accept extra long 223?
Yes these mags have good room, Cheers
You must be packing that powder in Mark, running 2208 lol.
I run 2206H @ 2850 still have a little room, but not much heheh.. I've run mine up as fast as 2950, was seeing pressure signs at those speeds. Found 2800 - 2850 was the sweet spot, much slower/faster and my grps opened right up.
Great film, well shot sam, the wind was extremely challenging to say the least.
Loved it, atb to you both 👍
Thanks Adam, Cheers
Nice shooting Sam …I am surprised you even got two on steel the way that wind was blowing…top job 👍
Thanks Bryce, Cheers
OMG. Those are some rough conditions. Purely Awesome. Congrats!!!
Cheers Man, thanks
Getting close to target in those conditions is impressive. Hitting the target multiple times is fantastic. Well done, Sam.
Thanks Dave, glad you liked, Cheers
That was some incredible shooting with high variable winds at a 2ft square target at over 2k yards! If the winds had been what was forecasted, she would have been pinging that target consistently!!
Cheers Man, thank you
Great job Sam 🎉😊
thanks Shane
This is a shooting lesson. Pretty sure no one did that before. This is a world record. Excellent. Only can learn from you guys. 👏🙏
Thank you Andrey, glad you liked, Cheers
Always a pleasure watching you two. Thanks
Thanks Jim
That distance That caliber and that wind. Outstanding job
Cheers Bob
I sure do enjoy watching either of you shoot! With the wind blowing the way it was, that was some AWESOME SHOOTING Sam!
Thank you. Glad you liked. Cheers
🤯 mind blown. Love your work guys.
Thanks Man
Great to see Sam lead and shoot. Sam is so positive, I can relate! 😊
Cheers
That's just nuts!
I bet nobody would think you could hit something with a .223 on that distance.
Impressive! 🤘
Cheers Man, thanks
The splash of the 90gr at that distance surprised me. Great shooting Sam. That wind was humming! Thanks for another great video guys
Thanks Man, Cheers
Good shot in that wind!
Cheers
With that wind and caliber, I don't know how it is even possible. Totally amazing, Sam can shoot!!!
Thanks Man
Mind blowing when you pan out with the drone!
Thanks John
Nice to see Sam shooting at that distance, she seems to like it a lot. Wounderful to see you two share same interests..😊😊😊😊
Thanks Ryan, Cheers
Nice to see you guys out and about, always enjoy your content. Looks a bit windy. Best wishes.
Thanks Ace
Huge effort with a 223 at that distance and in that wind! Very impressed.
Thanks Man
Wow that is awesome. Cheers from South Africa
Cheers Man

Cheers

Cheers Man, thanks
A .223 at 2000 yards? That’s freakin mental mate…
Edit: 2000+ yards
Cheers Matt, thanks man
Good shootin' Sam! A .223 Rem at that distance in that kind of wind is no piece of cake.
Cheers Man, thanks
2000 mt shot with a 223 in windy conditions, You guys are legends.
Cheers Man, thanks
Incredible really! The wind mixed with extended distance isn’t a mixture for a good cake !
Thanks Man, Cheers
You two are amazing thank you for your work.
Thanks Todd, cheers
😮 Sam is shooting better than most, must have had a great teacher! ❤❤❤
Thanks Chris, Cheers Man
@@markandsamafterwork 🙏

223 at a mile and a quarter is truly unexpected ,, especially in that wind,,,,,,, EXCELLENT ,,,,,,,,,,
Thanks Will, Cheers
Right On Sam.... Great Job!
Thank you, Cheers
Pretty awesome with conditions 223 had some thump to it also at that distance very impressive!!!
cheers man thank you
That’s a very long way !! Good work Sam !
Thank you Tristan, Cheers
Stretching those limits. Well done!
Cheers
Thats a long way for a .223 especially in those conditions. Nicely done guys, cheers!
Cheers Mike, thanks man
Great shooting Sam, especially in that amount of wind. Good team work from Mark in the spotter position. Have been trying to find components to build with the 223 rem as well. Was looking at the Tikka platform. Hard to find here at this time. Always great to see both of you folks out enjoying this sport.
Thank you Mike, glad you liked, Cheers
Great job!!!
Thanks Daniel. Cheers
3:15, cracking shot! Great work team!
Cheers
I am thinking of buying a new long range precision rifle for more modest undertakings and wanting to stay with .223 often had my doubts if I should instead go for a more powerful cartridge. Watching what you can do with .223 definitely erased my doubts.
Awesome shooting and team work as usual. It is great to be able to watch your videos. My favorites in the whole shooting universe.
Thank you sir, Cheers
Nice work from Sam is less than ideal conditions
Cheers Man
قبل از این ویدیو هرگز باور نمی کردم بتوان چنین کاری کرد 👏👏👏 عاشق ایده های شما شده ام
Cheers Man, thanks
Good to see Sam gets to shoot, bummer about the wind.
Thanks Mike
Sam can shoot, but that recoil is just killer!! Good on you, Sam!
Thanks Man, and lol, Cheers
Great Team. well done
Thanks Anthony
Go Sam! Backed it up alright!💪🏼
Thank you Sir, Cheers
If she can cook as good as she can shoot and run cameras, you got a heck of a WIFE !!
Cheers Tom
You make me wish I was there. That outback country has its own vibe. Lots of very open spaces. Very Kool. Although probably very Hot as well.
Thanks Jim, glad you like, Cheers
All I can say is that is awesome
Thanks Sterling
Hell of a spoter incredible sniper! Go on girl!
Thank you, Cheers
My calculations say a whopping 91~ ft-lbs of on target energy! Actually pretty amazing that those 90 grainers are still stable at that speed/distance, well done guys!
Thanks Man
Actually it would be surprise they weren't stable
simply wow great work
Cheers
The ability to shoot small caliber at those distances is really impressive!
Glad you liked Matt, Cheers
If Sam only had a better spotter.. haha.. Well done as always mate. 👍
Lol, Cheers
I punched this wind call into my ballistic calculator, and it just said, " Can't be done, stupid". Just kidding! Great job!
Lol, Cheers Man
NICE With that wind more than nice.
Thanks Man
Good on ya Sam👍🏻
Cheers Jim, thanks
Big wind
Tiny bullet
Over a mile
Great job even hitting in the same county as the target
Respect
Thanks Man, Cheers
Sheesh! With that wind I'd have trouble at 200 yards! LOL. Nice shooting, Sam! :-)
thanks Man, Cheers
I'd never have expected 2 hits in those conditions with the little 223. They were all in the ballpark, but that wind!
Cheers Man, thank you
Great job!
Thanks Man, cheers
Tikka make some nice rifles. But for sure the skill of your partner, whoa!
Cheers Man
Nice to see Sam making smoke!
Cheers Vic
In the Army back in the early 90s I had to memorize a LOT of specs for the M16A2 rifle and the absolute maximum range of the 5.56 projectile was 3,534 meters. At that distance it's like an indirect weapon and there's very little energy left
Cheers
That maximum was just calculated. 5.56x45 , 62 grain military round, having MV~3200 ft/s, never reached 3300 yards + (3 km) at proving grounds
I believe you. That was the max range as listed in the TM@@imeprezime1285
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 In 1990s progress in development of military Doppler radars was such that even tracking of small .223 bullets became possible up to their extreme range. Green tip M855, 62 grain bullet ( 5.56x45 NATO) has been measured typically aprox 3300 yards during fair weather (close to standard military metro conditions), with bore elevation 25-30°
This year has been a shocker for wind so far. Been a challenge for us that find it hard enough to stay within minute of fox at 200yards on a still day then you two come along....😁
Lol, glad you liked, Frank Cheers
Quote "Yes 223 Rem at a mile, and not the weather we hoped for" No that's a mile plus 474 yards and windy...great shooting Sam!!!!
Lol, Cheers man
Great - no mucking around with Sam - aim, steady and fire. Bing!
Cheers Geoff, thank you
AWESOME SHOOTING SAM .. !!!!!!! THE WIND IS BAD... !!!!!! MARK IF YOU BLINKED YOU WOULD MISS THE SHOT .... !!!!! THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO .... !!!!! TRY ANOTHER DAY WHEN IT'S NOT HURRICANE WINDS... !!!!! LOL ...!!!!! THANK YOU BOTH ... !!!! DOUBLE G. ! ! !
Thanks very much Gary. Yep, the wind is not our friend this year. Cheers
@@markandsamafterwork 👍
Marks muzzle brakes are literally the best Ive ever used. They absolutely work. I have one on my 300win mag. I can shoot that rifle all damn day. Now, God help anyone whos shooting next to me however. hahahahaha
Thanks John, glad you like em, Cheers mate
Two hits in blustery conditions good stuff
Thanks Craig
Awesome, just so awesome. Sam is a Down Under Sniper lady❤
Lol, Cheers man, thank you
Even one hit is pretty incredible
Thanks Randy
Waoooo i was worried my .223 wont shoot beyond 500m great video i taught that with 90 grains u will have more twist than 1/7.
Thanks Man
Is it just me, or does it seem like Sam only gets to shoot on days when the wind has all the airplanes grounded? 😊 Very impressive shooting - making hits with the 223 at over 2k yards would be impressive on a calm day, in that wind that was stellar!
Thanks Earl, Cheers
Well done Sam! 2000m with a 223 is not a easy shot!
🖖🏻🇫🇷😎🇫🇷😎🇫🇷🖖🏻
Thank you Philippe, Cheers
You were asking a lot of performance for that light bullet.
You have to be the ultimate 'wind shooters'.
Lol, we do our best, Cheers Man
Love watching you pair shoot.
Though i must say Mark, 'Sam' is a far better 'spotter' cobber 😁
Great stuff.
Cheers for sharing.
Thanks Man, Cheers
Talk about a marriage made in heaven. What a team.
Thanks Brad, Cheers
Here i am happy with good groups at 200m 😂 Nice work
👍👍😊
What an awesome couple⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks Andrew, Cheers
OUTSTANDING ❤
Thanks Man
Boy the girl 👩🏻 can shoot alright 😯. You go girl.
Yep, Cheers Man
90gr is a loooong pill! Awesome!
Lol, Cheers
I reckon you can take that as a win given the wind conditions.
Yep. Thank you. Cheers
Fun to see Sam shoot. Yeah she is pretty good 🏆 and clearly enjoy it.
Nice to have a good team mate!
223 in high wind 2 km.. Wow I'm overwhelmed 👌😊.
Also found out on google maps the exact location where you shooting. It took some time but it makes it even more fun😊
Cheers Man
That's amazing
Cheers
Loved it you picked a heck of day 😮. I take it those weren’t 55 grain bullets
Cheers Tim
I am staggered by your performance. The very light projectiles would have been blown about in that wind something chronic. I probably shouldn't mention that I missed a red hind at 50 meters with my Tikka T3 .223 a month or so back. PS I hope you checked the barrel for stretch marks 😂
Lol, Cheers Man
