    I was just looking for a routine like this. Will you make another routine video specifically for school days, especially those with early morning classes? And do you mostly study in your bedroom, or was this just one of those days when you didn’t feel like going to the library etc? Such a cool video btw

      @@kuntayyılmaz thank you for your comment! I was debating wether I would make one for school days as well! But it’s on my list now ;) that one will probably be a 5:50 -6AM routine & well I live in no man’s land so no libraries close but when I’m at uni in the city I will sometimes study in the library, it depends on my mood, when I’m unmotivated it always helps to study in a library but for focus it is sometimes better at home.

    I suggest adding lemon and honey to the turmeric juice you made, it makes it 100x better!!

      That is a hard question. I think the all the challenges that go with starting AND keeping a channel running. I love learning new things and UA-cam requires a lot of skills. I still have so much to learn :)

      @@perspectieff Totally get that! UA-cam is a constant learning curve, but it’s awesome that you’re embracing the challenges. Every new skill you pick up makes the journey even more rewarding! Keep at it, you're doing great! 😊

    They say (I dont remember who) that you shouldnt avoid thinking bout the uncomfortable sentation of cold water. Once you embrace it and pay attention to it, you realize that it isnt so bad

    • @perspectieff

      I guess it depends on what your goal is, if you are focusing on it, it will increase the sensations definitely because you allow your brain to let more of the stimuli in (it’s called the portal theory or something I probably translate it badly from my cognitive psych course) but in my opinion, in either way, after 1m30 I am used to the cold, I use the alfabeth to get in the shower and do the thing it lowers the barrier to actually do it :) but I guess feeling the full sensation amplifies the positive benefits of the cold shower because of a higher adrenaline spike at least I think so :) thanks for watching 🙏

    • @santiagodesousa709
      @santiagodesousa709 Місяць тому +1

      @@perspectieff sounds goood. The alphabet acts as the ritual or activity you link to cold showers (the same mechanism you mentioned for starting a productive session). Although maybe it could be possible that by not being open to the sensation from the beginning the fear is not overcome as effectively, counteracting any barrier lowering strategy? I will have this in mind when listening or reading stuff so I can make a more scientifically structured argument :P

      @perspectieff  Місяць тому +1

      @@santiagodesousa709 yes I think that sounds logical & I like to speculate about these things if I ever find a scientific answer in my books I will let you know as well! :)
