I knew as soon as we scored we’d sit back, it’s very frustrating when we know we’re better than that and we can get another couple of goals and kill them off. You would think he’d learn from the final we lost. First decent team we come up against and we’re out unfortunately unless he lets the reins off when we get out of the group. Attack is the best form of defence and we have some of the best attackers in the competition.
I think we're all being a bit too negative here. The second half was pretty poor, but there were still some moments of quality. The keeper made an excellent save for that Kane header. Bellingham was easily the best player on the pitch and I thought Bowen did well when he came on. At the end of the day, it's 3 points. So long as we win games, I don't care how we play.
Groundhog day Dave, Kane drops in as the midfield link too often, if he's gonna do that we need a proper striker playing higher up the field with him, it's not rocket science, it's been this way for ages now Dave imo.
When Portugal won the Euros they played poor in the group stages, they drew 3 group games and went on to win the tournament so who knows we could go all the way. I'd like to see us create more chances, for most of the first half we kept the ball well but didn't create enough chances. Main thing is we got the win but definitely need to play better.

We have great individuals but they play such different tactics week in week outcin the league that it was blatantly obvious at times they had no clue where to be.

It was a decent win tbh. Serbia arent bad. England are just ok. Solid but not spectacular.
