Rapha is one of the greatest, if not the greatest Quake players of all time, but he's Phil Hellmuth of the quake world - even though he's an absolute monster, he doesn't stop complaining 😂😂😂
About my experience in QC also, 15 and 22 ms pings, basically perfect for online play, yet the hit detection is like you both have 100 ms of latency. Especially the LG ticks. Why do some of them just not register? Even when the opponent isn't moving, just some ticks don't register.
Not a popular take but in my opinion it's only gone backwards after SyncError started messing with lag compensation parameters. Hit registration used to be infinitely better at any ping and high pings were actually playable which was great for an already small player base as people would queue more servers.
for rapha its easy money since he is the best in qc. in overwatch and other games he is one of many esport guys but hes not the best in other games. hes just average. in qc he is the best. i guess thats why he plays.
@@Thiswayisyours Habit perhaps. With some people who complain constantly like Rapha does it can be a sign of frustration, and winning the game merely relieves that frustration rather than giving you joy. I'm not going to speculate either way, but he could definitely be playing without enjoying it.
@@kingenfuuken Well to be fair, the level of pro play in Overwatch was way lower than it is now. It's not a guarantee he could have continued to play as a pro in Overwatch. Lots of Overwatch League teams refuse to have players over the age of 25 because there's a weird belief in Asian esports that a player is too old at 25, which is wild. Lots of the OWL teams straight up refused to try out players that are 25+.
3:09 piercing sight -> combo kill
4:06 misstep = death
5:13 no sound = death
6:42 nice predict two direct rockets
6:56 yes sound = kill
that no sound was clearly Nonexz slowly walking around the corner.

Неплохая способность для контры читеров, но только для профи, обычным игрокам способность не особо поможет
cool
Do they enjoy this game ?
Rapha dropped a potential career in more mainstream esports to keep playing Quake, so yes
Why would they be playing if they didnt enjoy it?
