*I have to say I own this pedal and have never regretted buying it. ❤ It does everything from giving your amp additional grit and getting almost into fuzz territory but with a lot of clarity.*
I recently bought the Iommi Pedal, absolutely Awesome, very Sabbath, and still Versatile, so easy to get the Killer Iommi sound. I love this Pedal, definitely staying on my Board. Thank you Laney and their Black Country Custom' Shop, Brilliant Pedal!!! Melbourne, Australia.
John Roberts i basic question, what comes in the box??? I bought it from a store and was the exhibition unit, so the box comes just with the instructions. Theres no other thing? Such as stickers or Tony pick ? Gretings from Chile
So much more than the Iommi grinding tone. Three years and it is indispensable to me. Some treble boosters work great on single coils but not humbuckers. Not a problem with this little gem.
He played more a funky style, like Mel Galley. Sounds pretty good. Tony Iommi wasn't the only one to play through a Laney, Mel Galley did too with Trapeze.
You can do more with the TI pedal The Sabbra Cadabra one is more limited to the Vol4 sound and SBBS sound. While the TI one can replicate alot of 70s sounds
Sabbara cadabara is completely different I have both. The TIBoost is more flexible especially on 100watt amps. the SC is focused on recreating sabbath tones on smaller amps. Not a dis just my experience. The boost on SC is very good if you have the proper down tunings C#.
Holy shit I want this pedal more than I want my wife. But... not one Iommi riff to be heard here. Wtf Laney? EDIT- Bought this pedal , love it. Loses half a point though as the power input jack is on the side, not the top. FURTHER EDIT- loses almost all it's points as the rubber feet on the underside of the pedal make it impossible to velcro to your pedal board, unless you cut them off. I suggest a redesign Laney.
This was to show the diversity of the pedal and how it's not just a standard boost pedal and can do more than just heavy. There's plenty of that in the following video my good man; ua-cam.com/video/2Uw94K40pMg/v-deo.html
Laney.. I have a schematic and layout for a jfet based supergroup emulatior..is there someone I can speak to who might be interested in working with me on it and other pedals I've been working up?!

Javier Vicuña tengo exactamente la misma duda, compre en Audiomusica online, el que me llego estaba pseudo sellado y quede con la misma duda

Well no shhhit!!! Guy doesn’t even bust out a single Sabbath lick. Enough said.

Underrated band
Glenn Hughes! Also Sabbath!!!
If only they’d resort the drums on them Trapeze albums. Can’t be bothered listen to a kiddie diddler on the skins!!!
This pedal is a beast 🤘🏻
would be interesting to hear this up against a Sabbra Cadabra
Exactly! My thinking also! I got the Sabbra Cadabra Love it!
but that is a distortion with a treble booster in it, not just a treble booster
@@DeGreyMedia thanks, man!

It sounds very well
killer pedal, sounds good all over.
The middle toggle position wins for me🎛🎸

Listen from 0:02 to 0:17
Who is playing from 0:02 to 0:17?

@@LaneyAmplification From 0:02 to 0:17 : Muddy Water's Catfish Blues... So what ?
Pull them off??
I'd be interested in hearing this with chords.
Does the TI-Boost pedal use a silicon or germanium transistor (or a different electronic component)? Unfortunately the manual doesn't say.
Silicon.

Any chance to buy those?
Why the neck pickup predominantly? Did the bridge pickup not want to come out to play?
Bridge pickup ... neck pickup ... you gotta keep'em separeted ;-)
Nice review. I have a Laney TI15 amp and I need a boost/overdrive pedal to push it. Do you believe this is the one?
Hell yeah! No doubt
I can't find these anywhere. You guys have been teasing this thing since Q1. What's the deal?
Thomas Kirby Absolute Music in Dorset sell them

Thanks! It is a silicon or germanium TB?
based on the power jack alone i think it is silicon
Jfet!!!
@@sempercompellis I watched a review that stated it's germanium.
Wow! Spank it!!
Too difficult to play tony's riffs seriously !?
Copyright my dear friend.
@@LaneyAmplification Normally that would make sense, but this is an IOMMI signature pedal!
Record label copyright. Iommi has no say in it….
Why the F is this dude playing country licks we are here for fat riffs
