Boxes are underrated. My favorite transformer is Soundwave, he turns into a box. His minions turn into boxes. These animals turn into boxes, they fit right in with it.
Once I get paid for the track work I'm doing (finally after a 2 year hiatus for obvious reasons) for the school district he's easily one of the cubes I'm gunning hard for. He's freaking divine looking.
Just got Kirin today in the mail - this and the mantis (and the crab) are my top favorites so far - love these things! I love the styling of this guy in particular - has a Inuyasha quality that I love, and thanks for the review, I really needed to pay attention to the transformation!
I love the 52toys designs they knock the animals out the park i wish a company would make something like these that actually transform into a robot instead of a box. Very cool though.
These have quickly become my favorite transforming toys. I have been making it a tradition to get two or one of them a month. Theres so much quality put into these thing and i love em to death.
He looks beautiful and I can't wait for mine to show up. Just wish he'd been a bit bigger so Unus could ride him. But I suppose the flames would have stopped that anyway. He'll still look great as Cybertronian wildlife.
I have all of the insect Beast boxes because they make perfect desk trinkets also it would be really cool to get a more Gundam like version of this figure
I literally judge the collectibility of all my transformers (and transforming figures) off of your reviews and now you're reviewing these! Are you planning on doing a review for the MB-17 Icarus and/or any of the other combiner style offerings from 52toys?
I think that, since you like these so much, you might enjoy Bakugan? I really like the reboot's toyline for how it improves upon he original line in so many ways. Plus I like the show for having interesting characters that feel realistic? You don't have to check out the toys or show but I think you might like them if you do? And if you _do_ check it out and don't like, oh well, at least you gave it a shot. Although the reboot's first season's line is the best IMO. I do like season 3 and 4's gimmicks though?
I'm still not sure how to feel about these... on one hand the robot animal designs are lovely and the engineering is top-notch... but it just transforms into a box? I get what emgo means when he says it's neat to see what you can get out of a box's general shape... but idk... it doesn't really sell me, yet I'm still intrigued. Very weird sensation.
I felt the same way but after getting my first beastbox last year, you can't not love them even though the whole gimmick is basic. They always land the presentation
I've been collecting these for 5 years. I've a tiny wall. I don't recommend the Ironman one. It's easily the worst one and the only time I was really disappointed in 52toys.
Emgo, save your money and don't buy the iron man. The figure is pretty cool, but it's attempts to become a box are actually one of the only very weak attempts by 52 toys. Watch some reviews to verify.
Please DO NOT buy the Iron man box. It is the worst one of all. As a fan that started collecting these since the beginning, I can garantee you will regret it . It's just lazy engineering to use the weapons to fill in the box shape. Maybe it's because the plastic they used, it looks and feels quite cheap, and nothing wants to peg together. It easily crumbles into pieces when handled. Since I got it I never played with it a second time. Now it's just another brick in the wall.

Not to mention, boxes are the legendary items used in the Metal Gear Solid series. One of the most beloved games in the world!
And the 2007 transformers movie was all because a box landed on earth
the level of engineering behind their creation is underrated
this figure is what the offspring of a Rapidash and Shenron would look like and I'm all for it
These would have sold like crazy in the 80s. Especially if there was a cartoon.
From what i understand they sell like crazy now

Really excited that you’re now reviewing Beastbox figures
Who does not love a transforming......box.
I have rock lords. I'm not complaining lol
He had me on "SAAAAAAD PAAACMAAAAN". LOL

Also may the 4th be with u brother

They do
Think of the boxes as pokeballs, you throw a box at an enemy and a mechanical animal comes out and murders for you.
@@sigerlion8608 oh yeah they are cool.
I like the combination of colors. They work well together.

I want it in Monster Hunter colors and the Oroshi variant.
I would love to see a Scorpion version of one of these
Surprised you haven't done little skits at the end of these.^^
i felt like the legs felt fiddly so I tightened all the joints with clear nail polish and now the figure is a joy to pose.
Pretty majestic design. Imagine what a robot mode would look like
The kirrin mode is so ... "kirrin". Best kirrin figure (that transform) imo. Ty for reviewing this emgo !
Could you please do reviews on the 52 toys Predator and Aliens ?
I'm going to
@@emgo316 Thank you very much!
Those beast boxes are pretty dope I thought bout getting a couple especially that one
I've not really been paying attention to these things because of the whole turning into boxes, but this guy looks really cool.

I want them to releast a giant one of these that carries the chargers

Thank you so much for helping me to transform this thing. AND the second time. AND everytime I forget a step 😂

If you don't have the Hornet one I highly recommend it. Same goes for either of the two scarabs( the blue one is best though)
Red is a Hercules Beetle and Blue is a Caucasus beetle. Like heracross and pinsir.
I’m thinking of buying quite a few of these and stacking them to form a sort of espionage center for Soundwave lol
since there are combiners in this toyline it's basically a better engineered version of Zyuohger
ok looking at the beast mode I had no idea how it was supposed to turn into a box, after watching the transformation, I still don't
I've picked up 9 beastboxes from 52toys. I have a tower of boxes, not quite a wall going on
Amazing
it's a fire unicorn.
like in the stormriders movie
I wonder if they'll do a white and blue version to mimic the monster from Monster Hunter that shares it's name.
lmao .... "you got the touch " ....
I believe you said Kirin correctly at the beginning
Plus, had a feeling this was sent out to you. I think they're doing this with other reviewers, and I don't blame them, they do look nice
Amazing just amazing
God I want to get a Beastbox of my own some day, hopefully within this week since it's my birthday this saturday
Sweet! Mine's tomorrow! All the best in getting your own beat box. I have 11 of them so far and love all of em!

This was so helpful!
He's great!
I get rock lord vibes
I thought you had to break bones to turn a animal into a box
Omg i didn’t know emgo had marvel legends
This is Bakugan but cube
And more complex engineering... and not built around a weird card game
