Thank you, a very informative video. I had a serious tech question for you. I'm illegally blind low vision user and I was wondering if lineage os, pixel experience plus OS and pixel OS offer the Android accessibility suite in their builds? I use TalkBack via the Android accessibility suite to navigate my device. In addition, I also use it to set up my device. Some people are unaware of this but, when you're on the startup page all you have to do is press the volume keys together for 10 seconds and talk back will activate. Thus, enabling a legally blind person such as myself to set up my own device from scratch. I'm considering putting a custom ROM on my OnePlus device and I needed to know that bit of information ahead of time. Please get back to me when you have a moment. Again, thank you very much.
@@gockartzz8272 the same way that I achieved two doctorate degrees, a master's degree and earned a fully tenured professor ship at a major Southern California University here in the United states. Tenacity, grit and lots of hard work. However, legally blind low vision user does not mean totally blind. I still have 15% of my vision. In addition, I also have a beautiful girlfriend that will see what I can't and will guide me appropriately. Thank you!
first off, thanks for sharing this handy accessibility tweak, even I wasn’t aware of this! With that said, I’ll definitely try and let you know whether LinageOS supports this accessibility feature or not. But since it requires doing a factory reset and setting up the phone from scratch, just give me a couple of days before I round off my other videos on this device and then i'll do a reset for your test and inform you of the outcome.
No need to rename the long file names. Within cmd/powershell/terminal you can press TAB on your KB to fill in the rest of the text. So if the file is name lineage-21.0-20240219.... you can start with lineage (PRESS TAB) to fill in the rest for you.
during my initial testing, even on passing the Play Integrity Test, the ROM is still stuck on Widevine L3. I'll try a tweak to make it support L1 and post a video on the same as soon as possible.
