Please note that just about the ONLY PRACTICAL way to reduce/prevent blockage by debris at the inlet itself is to make it WIDER & HIGHER than any possible debris-size. But just imagine the WORK, the MATERIAL, and the COST of constructing this bridge about 2m higher, with NO obstructions under it for the FULL width of the river when IN FLOOD...😮😮☹☹
