Thanks man for your tutorials. Almost everything I know about sewing; I learned from you. you are a very great teacher. And again I just want to thank you.
Thank you for this tutorial. I've been trying to find a way to make a sleeve pattern and this tutorial seems to answer my problem. You make it seen easy. Thank you for sharing.
luckily I have the same height as you Ken and same size!! I have no problem following your tutorials :) so far I'm loving my new look!! thank you so much ken!
Thank youvery much i learn the technique the way you did.i waste lots of patern paper by practiceng of it, through your demonstration i got perfect.👍👍👍👍❤️
I noticed that a lot of my jeans need some sort of work and I feel like it's time for me to get a machine so I can learn for myself instead of always going to a tailor. I also want to start making simpler garments like t-shirts. I saw your video on what type of machine to look for for beginners, but if I'm working on a lot of denim is there anything I should be looking for in a machine? I just want to make sure before I get something that doesn't work for me.
Yoooo thats whats up. This will help me a lot in the future just made my first shirt yesterday and will be uploading a video sometime soon. Keep it up.
How do you make sure the S curve is going to match the armhole on the body of the Tee shirt? It looks like you traced the curve pretty randomly...? Also I know the back of a Tee is slightly wider and the front slightly narrower; this to allow for arms motions. But you just trimmed the back of the sleeve pattern "to differentiate between the back and the front". isn't there a better way to trace this pattern based on the front and back of the body of the Tee?
for the front you measure from the top point to the bicep line and divide it into 1/4ths. the one closest to where the sleeve attaches to the bodice you mark 3/8in above the line, for the last fourth closest to the bicep line you mark 3/8in below the line. Make an S curve from the apex to the first mark, curve downward through the middle mark, then curve back upward to pass through the lower mark (essentially you have one curve above the line and 1 curve below the line of equal lengths that looks like a sine wave). For the back, measure the same, but divide it into 1/3rds. 3/8in above first mark, 3/4in below the (halfway point between the last mark and the bicep line. Then follow the same steps with starting on the curve on top, passing through the first mark, then curving downward through second mark, passing under the line including the halfway mark, then back up to the bicep line. This is much easier with a french curve, but it can be done freehand also.
I'm having trouble reading the math. Is it armhole = measurement times 2 and sleeve length and width is divided by 2 and then add 2 inches? Just want to make sure
I am new to all of this, when I was in middle and high school. I made clothes and costumes, but not the "proper" way. So I found some of your videos and have an enormous question or favor to ask of you. I wish to be a version of Harley Quinn for Halloween and just have the dress to wear it. Lol sooo.... the dress I am speaking of is from the Batman and Harley Quinn animated movie. If you haven't seen it please watch it. (Only if you wish to help me out) Her dress she is seen wearing I have yet to find a cosplay or pattern for it, so I broke it down into sections. She has a short puffed sleeve, with a V-neck typeish breast section connected to a V-waisted bodice, then finishing with a ruffled/gathered/fluffy skirt that is kind of short. I like how you explain things in a clear voice and pronounce everything clearly as well and I could really use your help BECAUSE I WOULD LOVE TO MAKE THIS DRESS by the mid to end of October. I love your videos, thank you so m uch for even reading this because it's so long. LOL my bad.
Hey #kenandrewdaily no disrespect intended when I said "let's get into the sewing" but I (like a lot of ur subscribers) look forward to all ur let sews & all the Kool stuff u make. I kno that it ain't easy to put out videos but I'm anxious to see more thankz for all ur teaching skilz "my boy kenandrewdaiily & remember to keep it daily" ✌🏼
Only thing that knocks me off is not actually seeing the measurements. When you do videos it will be alot helpful to say your measurements as you go that way we know if we're doing it right or not.
Hi sir Kenandrew can i make a request..can you do the pattern of how to cut surgical gown use in hospital..plssss sir i am.a frontliner here in the Philippines and we want to make some surgical.gown and iam the one who will make a surgical.gown..
That's the worst S-Curve I've ever seen, and people love it. Or they know it's wrong and explain in the comments what you missed, or didn't describe, or did wrong. It's unfortunate you take one of the hardest things to learn, making and inserting sleeves, and you rush through it, leaving out literally all the relevant information.
I've been looking for a sleeve pattern drafting for several years, this one smashed it easy and straight forward. Keep posting those useful tutorials
The best teacher yet. Whoa! Thanks 😊
I've been watching lots of videos on how to make an arm pattern but yours is so easyyyyy it made me understand easily!!!!! Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤
If you are drafting the "s curve" free handed how would you know whether it is correct or not?
So easy to follow. Get right to the pattern....love it!
Ooh its not everyday u see a guy take up sewing, but thats awesome!
Thanks man for your tutorials. Almost everything I know about sewing; I learned from you. you are a very great teacher. And again I just want to thank you.

Keep pumping these out bro!! I can't wait to see what after the long sleeve. Keep these coming man.
Thank you for this tutorial. I've been trying to find a way to make a sleeve pattern and this tutorial seems to answer my problem. You make it seen easy. Thank you for sharing.

Thank youvery much i learn the technique the way you did.i waste lots of patern paper by practiceng of it, through your demonstration i got perfect.👍👍👍👍❤️
have you heard of a french curve? it's very useful in making patterns.
Hey! Just a question: why would you divide the length in half when it is not part of your symmetry? As it is in the middle...
I really love those kinds of videos :) Thanks a lot !
Awesome video. Thank you for the help.

Does your pattern include seam allowance? If yes, what is the SA?

When doing the measurements on the armhole what does "Measurement *2" mean? Do I add 2 inches or multiply it?
American Senpai *, means multiply. + is addition

Julius Lugo i figured it out its for the s mark
