I think the fact Joe talks so openly about mental health is so important. It could mean 2 young lads, who don't talk about their feelings and insecurities because it's not "cool", might be watching and look at each other and go "You know what mate, I feel like that sometimes. Can I talk to you about it?" And since they've seen someone they think is cool, and that he doesn't get the piss taken out of him for talking about it, they can start that conversation.

If, like Jack, you know deep down that the stuff you’re thinking doesn’t make any sense then there’s going to be a way to treat it and that’s what mental health professionals are there for. However that’s not to say you can’t tackle it yourself, because recognising and understanding the way you feel is key, and will allow you to see from a more positive and hopeful perspective

I'm so happy Joe talked about the caffeine addiction, I was the exact same in 6th form, I hated it so much and was so stressed that I got attached to it, and it's crazy, cos noone thinks it's a problem, so you can have this dependency in front of everyone and they just think it's fine. Thought it was just me, cheers lad.

watched weller for so many years, made friends that are still with me from creasing at internet melts back in year 7,I think as a long time viewer I think good vids for weller to make would be travel/vlogs and just messing about with malfoy ect and just enjoying himself, that’s when his videos do best

That was probably the best episode I’ve ever watched. Joe is a proper down to earth lad, I really appreciated his thoughts and opinions on all the topics covered and I genuinely wish him nothing but success, but more importantly I wish inner peace in terms of mental health - same goes for JaackMate. I suffer with health anxiety myself and it was really quite therapeutic listening to you all talk about these issues, it genuinely felt like a therapy session. TOP TOP episode well done lads 👌🏽

Maybe this is personal preference, but I hate that 2 minute trailer at the start of podcasts. You don't need to draw me in, i'm here, and it just ends up ruining a conversation cos I know where it's going, it's more interesting to see it go there naturally. I know I can just skip it (and I do), but skipping forwards and backwards to find the intro music is such a pain. Otherwise, love the podcast, just wanted to complain about something petty

The thing is.. Joe's fans from 2014 were also young back then and we also grew up. Like if Joes started acting like his 2014 self now we would just find it cringe because we're the same audience that watched him back then. I don't think the 15 years olds today would start following him either. I feel like you have your core fans from the first couple of years and they mature alongside you.

Never have I actively gone out and tried to give Joe Weller a chance and watched him. This podcast single handedly has taught me to not judge, realise that people can change and that Joe genuinely cares about Jack's mental health. The way he was asking him and trying to persuade him to seek out therapy made me quite emotional. It's good and refreshing to see males be OK with their feelings, emotions, depression, anxiety, mental health. Thanks for this episode.

Wow jj knows him really well. Jj said he'd bottle it. I'm not a weller fan but I know how he felt. I felt like that for my first 2 fights. Problem is who is training you,you also need a team coach who can prepare you. In my case I felt my instructor thought I was shit BUT I wanted to fight no matter what. After the second fight I was told yep they all thought I was shit because they thought I was shit I was affected.Yet when I trained and fought in another area everything was different, coaches prepped me for the moment;mentally prepped me installed confidence in me. Only sad thing is Joe can't accept the girl thing and him and jj aren't friends. You can tell it hurt him because he knew exactly WHAT WAS BEEN TALKED ABOUT

To be honest I still think Joe is forcing it in his videos and I could see his breakdown coming after his extra motivated video, but I think that he is genuinely really sound. You can see him be himself here and it is great, but I still think he is very forced on his own channel.
