They can either be eating at buttom or top. Depends on their feeding nature and habitat. Barramundi in other country take topwater lures. In Singapore wise, sometimes they do, but buttom works better on shallow waters.
Damn.. we went there a few times and the gurkhas there really ruined it for me and my friend when they just casted a net above my friend’s line causing his line to tangle. We ended up spending hours untangling the line without landing any fish while they happily walk away with at least 10+ fishes.
@@grouperhunt yes bro, gurkhas from Nepal, they are regular at ubin so most of the anglers there will know them, had a good chat with them too, they were telling me their survival tactics in the jungle. Hahaha. But seeing them is like seeing otters , we can hardly catch any fishes after their appearance. Lol
Nice catches. It looks delicious all cooked up.

Thank you so much for creating such wonderful music 🎵
Why is low tide good for fishing? Nice location man.
All the fish is concentrated at one spot during lowtide and we have high chance getting those fishes
Yup Asyraf is right. Fish get stuck in this pool and yah, they are much easier to catch as they are concentrated at one spot.
@@AJVMFISHING 😀😀
Where is this place?? Ubin on which side?
Its toward the police station path way.
Its toward the police station path way.
wats de knife yor using?
Vastar Folding knife from Aliexpress. Cheap ones. Quality wise not so good.

Don't mind asking? Which part of ubin bro?
Hi, the location is towards the Police station side of Pulau Ubin. You can follow the trail there 🎣
@@AJVMFISHING oh ok noted with thanks. 👍
Where is the place which part of Pulau ubin?
Sensory Trail area.
Is the barramundi a top or bottom feeder?

Could I join. U all next time if u are going fishing

Yup, sadly we called them human otters. They don't really care if you're fishing. They will just keep on casting until they can't catch anymore fish.
if you cant beat them, join them, cast a net after their net.
what bait u guys used?
Shld be live prawns. Its barramundis favourite
Yup! Its live prawn 🦐
Lols, bro I was at ubin last Saturday too, the gurkhas were throwing net everywhere
. They caught about 20+ fishes. the rain was super heavy too.
Yahh bro, they came to our spot too after the rain and caught at least 7-10 fish 😞
@@grouperhunt yes bro, gurkhas from Nepal, they are regular at ubin so most of the anglers there will know them, had a good chat with them too, they were telling me their survival tactics in the jungle. Hahaha.

@@nigellim5089 hard to be friends if they fish like this.
Nice one!
Thanks man! 👍
Why do we have to head back home when the mountain of mud is covered
Meaning its already high tide. Landing a barramundi by that time is extremely hard.
