We live in southeastern Illinois on a 41 acre homestead. We just finished building our log cabin in 2018. Now we are focused on trying to grow our own food and raise livestock. Follow us on our journey we continue to develop our homestead and farm, while becoming more self sufficient.

Smooth delivery . liked it a whole bunch. Most live feeds leave me wondering, not yours. I really liked it. Ill try and catch the next one for sure .see
hello from Canada- we are in full fall mode--you have a good livesteam.
As for your drain problem… you can buy florescent dye to put in your floor drain and put the hose in it and it will show ya where it comes out…
The wife and I really enjoy watching your show. To see you struggle with shit and sometimes fix it, is alot of fun. Keep up the good work brother.
We enjoy watching y'all. Love the way Becky cares for the animals. Why not sell your eggs are give them to food banks and not to the pigs.🎉
Great to se you both again hope you are all doing well and as always God bless you and your family always
I just finished watching the recording. I really enjoyed listening to you today and love all your videos. You both seem like very nice people. I think that’s why people are drawn to you and enjoy the window you provide us into your lives. Wishing you continued success!

Oh man I missed this last night! Thank to both of you for the channel and everything you do. It definitely helps me keep going on our homestead. Have a great weekend

Great job guys that went pretty quick I enjoyed the show looks like you guys should try this again
As time passed you will settle into routines for the garden, orchard, pastures. You make progress with planning each year. 👍👍👍
Awesome, thanks for sharing with us. Stay safe and keep up the fun. Fred.
I'm quite jealous of your life style as my husband and I had planned to move to a smallholding once our kids had flown the nest. Unfortunately our eldest became to victim of an maniac driver and was made quadriplegic prior to us finding our own little place so we were never able to bring this to fruition. Watching you both working on your place is really interesting and we really enjoy watching the projects whatever they are. Also enjoy the honesty when things don't go quite to plan. Enjoyed the Live and looking forward to the next one. (Hate the adverts though). Thanks again for letting us into your world.
That little well you have might make a good project later if it will just pump a few gallons a minute. It adds up fast. 👍
Do ye have any cats.missed ur livestream, catching up now, really enjoy all your videos,Greetings from Co Clare Ireland.🇮🇪☘️🙏🏻🙏🏻🐕🐈⬛
Howdy from Stillwater, OK!
That was a loely chat. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
We've always used a half of 55 gallon drum to boil the water in then we made up on the bottom of a piece of Steel what's the barrel sets on and we feed it with wood it's more of a consistent Heat propane would definitely work too but that's all what we used to do but it doesn't cool down as fast as a small pot that you have
You said you would like to be able to move cattle to a hay field. Why not train them about poly wire voltage and then use poly wire to make a lane to the hay field. Keep up your good work. We spend the winter at our house on Charleston, IL and spend summers at our Fargo, N.D. place. Our daughter is a nurse in Fargo.
