I love this. Thank you Pastor Deola. This mindset that we give next to nothing (financially) to the things pertaining to God has to stop. Quick one: do you not pay for the Bible you read? If not physical money then you use data that you paid for. And the Bible is the main source of the gospel. When you pay for Christian materials you pay for the logistics not the revelation of God in it. Same same when you pay for concerts, you partner to pay the running cost not the presence of God. Another thought on this is that we need to understand that for some people, once it is free you would not find them there, and the gospel has to reach them one way or the other too. And if you are asking why there would be vip and vvip just know that a percentage of individuals think once something is too cheap then it’s of little or no value. Let’s stop dreaming big and thinking small. You see yourself financing God’s kingdom but you can’t partner in your little way with 1k, 2k, 5k or 10k for concerts ah! ah!! ah!!! Lord have mercy upon us
Well put @Pelumi Akintayo, another thing I can add on vvip too is that, remember is the same concert, why are people paying more, it is also a way to raise more money for the logistics. You’ve said it all. God bless
Man of God @jaymikee please let's have this discussion again but this time with Music Ministers for more clarity!! Thank you for this eye opening discussion ❤️👏❤️
While watching this, a UA-cam ad on learning the intricacies of piano in Worship music interrupted the video. A MONETARY-PAYMENT required training arrangement. Coincidence? Maybe not. 🌚
Gospel preached out of envy, Selfish ambition and opposing one another is not the right way to preach the gospel even though souls will be blessed but the preacher will be in trouble. You cannot expect someone who is not born again to come pay to receive Christ. I believe Christians are the ones who understand that we need to push the gospel forward. Concert as entertainment should be charged but preaching the gospel to the lost souls should not be paid by the lost souls.
I believe folks who are not gospel artists of any kind are "overthinking" this. Let us get "technical." Don't we give our tithes and offering, and are not the tithes and offering used for the upkeep of the church, outreach programs, and evangelism? Come on, children of God, these artists must be paid for their work. They have families. End of discussion. Money is needed in everyone's life. God bless you, JayMike.
Please I support the pastor in blue top ( pastor w). All Christians should be submitted to the leading of Holy spirit. If it was God leading you to do concert, then He knows how to provide the resources. You can't ask me to pay for gospel concert as an unbeliever and you expect me to be there/pay. It is not by force you must do concert. The aim is to preach the gospel, if you are not financially capable to organized concert, then look for alternative on how the gospel could be preach. The motive behind whatever we are doing should be to the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ, we shouldn't give in to flesh at all
Even sometimes some Bible is free to some people. I can remember when I became born again,I couldn't afford a Bible and I was given for free to God be the glory,so when we evangelize and people can't afford we help them to get it. That is evangelism,I think there should be sponsors rather than charging
Thanks Jay for this topic,I think there should be a opportunity for people who are willing to attend but can't afford to pay. Yes the ministry needs money I agree, another solution is to reduce the cost to the lowest... Thanks God bless you all
That might be an issue though because we that want it low are also the same that criticize it if they do a production lesser than standard. It took a lot of money to get that done 🤷
Congress is not free because is believers that go there, but with gospel concept,we need unbelivers to come, how will Christ be preached if they can't afford for the concert
Anyways it’s fine to charge for concerts bcos of the cost of stage, lights and etc. But it shouldn’t be with the aim of making wealth or profits, for Christ sake the aim of every Christian artist should be to share the gospel. E.g before social media MZM don’t charge to do stage dramas in churches except if they are given honorarium….they’d rather plead to do it for free. So my aspect is you can look for sponsors for your concerts and if u don’t get enough you add a little fee just to support the payment for other resources to be used. When u are invited to a church don’t be adamant on a particular amount to collect…., u can simply seek guidance from the Holy Spirit on how or when to charge at least it’s easier and use social media to make your money. God bless you @jaaymike for this wonderful session. Also God bless you Pastor Adeola and Pastor Wale. I really enjoyed the session and learnt a lot. Thanks much love from Jbless 💕
Charging for concert is really not a good idea, what of people that don't have UpTo expectations, because Jesus ask what do you have. some have little, which they can not pay, Does that mean they should not receive it
If the Christian concert was meant for the gospel... Hmm. Wondering if the Christian mandate should be binary in approach though? The child who brought the 5loaves and two fishes, brought a Capital*, hmmm. Curious if that wouldn't sit well as an economic endeavour. Why not an "offering"? for which is a Christian effort. If the goal is evangelism... Don't bill. But if it is not, bill. Hmm
Which ministry are we talking about? Is it not God’s ministry? If God called you to the ministry, He will definitely back you up, The problem here is because we have personalised the work of God The motive behind your concert matters, no unbeliever will come and pay to listen to God’s word weather over charging or not overcharging I don’t understand Pastor Adeola I believe, school of ministry is for serious believers but concert should be to target lost souls and should not be paid for
I think the mind-set of always talking about free when it comes to talent is appalling... Guys let's wake up from this free talk... whether gospel or not nothing is free... I think the guy on blue is contradicting himself...

I support the pastor in blue, because what he is saying is very true. Thank you pastor W
Pastor Wale, if you pay choir you must pay all other departments oh!!
Jaymikey... The name that brings God into your life and sense into your head.
God bless you Sir.
I think people can sponsor rather than charging before you perform
I understand Pastor Dee ooo but I completely agree with Pastor Wales son of thunder ooo....
So many truths shared here, however the kingdom of God MUST advance!
I would love to agree with Pst Wale. I don't see why a gospel focused program should be billed. All these other explanations seem to me like defence.
God bless this three wise men 🙏🙏.
I enjoyed this discussion

Jaymikee I am loving ❤❤❤ this Abejoye tee. Is it available for purchase?

What ever is evangelism should be free.

Very enlightening. Thank you sirs.
If you charge and the people can't afford and you did not go it means those that will hear the gospel will not hear it
So true
More grace
