International has some nice things going for it like the armrest on the seats. They’re nice and long and easy to adjust. The headlights on internationals are amazing. I like the magnetic 🧲 curtains in the front and sleeper. Keeps them shut with no light coming through. The dedicated paper towel holder is also nice. But that’s about it. As far as the best sleeper goes that award goes to either the t680 or freightliner cascadia.

Western star 4900 has a pretty awesome sleeper. Kenworth 86” studio is great. Probably the best sleeper imo is the current freightliner cascadia with the table

Internacional stopped making real good trucks since 2007 after that was the death of international. I do own a 2005 Eagle 9400i with a ISX on it with 1M+ miles and still running like a beast and I remember leasing a 2021 international and every month was something new breaking down.

This is nice, but I think International should have redesigned the cabin area. The dash, stack, etc. Would have been nice to see a remodeled version!

Why the heck is the upper sleeper bunk permanetly down? The worst design of a sleep cab ever...the radio controls in the bunk are so low that when you need to make your bed the mattress catches the push button on the radio and will eventually rip it off. The mattress is so wide that in order to reach the placement of the inverter you have to stand on your head or get on your knees. The magnetic bit that holds the storage lockers at the top when you close it, fall off (held by a small screw) The stupidest design are the lower storage areas attached to the upper bunk . You cant sit fully up in the corner or under it . Your on a 45 degree lean so the only place to sit leaning on the back wall is the center of the bed. The front storage extends too far out so when you stand up from the drivers seat you hit the farthest part sticking out. How do I know all this, because my company has many and this thing has some stupid design issues.

I like the top bunk design it makes a good rigid cab in the wind, a nice pull up bar, the radio though I will give you that me and my wife share that bunk often and I’m always into it.

You are dead on with the problems with this sleeper. Just a stupid driver unfriendly truck all around. The seats up front are hard. You feel everything, the engine regens a shit load of times per week/day, to hang your clothes in the closed cabinet your shirts will drag on the floor, opposite side has zero cabinets, just an open space with a tv connector, under the bunk has no storage. Wasted space. Only I liked about this truck was the low gear it gives you and the closed compartment just above your head in front that fits your paperwork perfectly. Truck is made cheaply and it shows interior and in ride quality. I traded my 2023 back in for an UltraLoft Pete 579. Now THATS a sleeper. 80” and everything is where it should be.
