Ascendancy on steroids is what the album is described as. Also 3:51 that riff gave goosebumps.
In my opinion, every song on this album is single worthy. Not a meh song on it. Alex did a play through live on his Twitch channel today and on Matt’s, they did a practice in the hangar live. I would highly recommend watching their Twitch streams , certainly in the next few weeks. Great reaction 🤘🏻

I hate the cymbal work in Fall Into Your Hands. Alex spammed it over and over again, and it sounded like crap in the mix, tbh. Matt's vocals were getting buried.

Feast of Fire is predictable, and not particularly unique, but this song, Abattoir, the title track, Damocles, and The Phalanx are among the best Trivium songs. I hadn't expected to ever think that, but it's as good as Ascendancy and Shogun on those tracks.
I think the reason, A Crisis of Revelation feels so good is it's made up of multiple parts that feel like the sum of each album in one song.
The chorus screams Ember to Inferno, the verses are Ascendancy, the intro and solos are Shogun, and the production is a lot like The Crusade at parts.
If you like the clean/dirty choruses you gotta check out Rain from Ascendancy!

I'm not sure about on this album but on their past albums Matt would record all vocals. Live Corey(the other guitarist) does the backing screams and Paolo(bassist) does other cleans/harmonies
Ever since WTDMS and the re-recording of Pillars, paolo and Corey are now doing more vocals on their albums
