Thanks for sharing Tommy. This is exactly the music I love to listen to and play. Well I don't play this style but I need to follow your videos and learn how. By the way, my apologies that I have never heard of you before but I am a fan of Chris Corcoran and I saw you pictured with him on Facebook and looked you up here and glad I did. Thanks for the music.
It's the guitar and amp buddy. P90 pickups definitely help. An easy thing to do is roll your tone back on the guitar. Other easy thing is use bigger strings. As far as setting up the amp don't boost the highs you want the mids to come up. If you are using a blackface amp that is naturally mid scooped have the highs equal to the lows. Hopefully this gets you in the ball park.
You would be a fool not to order this course! Tommy is the real deal and is teaching you properly

How to get that woody tone ? I've heard people get that sound from a strat as well and I cant figure how they are doing it ?

@@TommyHarkenriderguitar ok I see. Thanks for the help. I just discovered your page and I absolutely love it.
So ding damned hip.
I wish you would do the "lesson" without the bass machine and slower - those licks are hard even for us that think they can do jump blues?
tabs included?
No tabs for this one man.
Sorry, you do slow down for the meat of the lesson. Thanks.
