I'm so very sorry for your sad loss Gabriel. Jason's songs and lyrics have helped me through the loss of our 18 year old niece in July. I have been so very angry with God but the lyrics of many of his songs have helped me focus on God's faithfulness, even when we are angry (Not right now and Father remind me you're here in particular). Jason, you have a God given ministry and I thank you reminding me of God's presence, love and faithfulness in all things. Gabriel, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.May you feel a tangible sense of His presence today and always.
Oh my gosh thank you so much Jeannie you are so awesome! You’re beautiful niece is walking the streets of gold with the lord and smiling watching over you’re family and you God bless you!
Praying for you. I loss my big brother 13 years ago and my baby brother 3 years ago. My parents both died in the last 10 months. My grief is more than I can bare some days. This song helps me to believe and trust that God will bring me through it. Wiser and kinder and with forgiveness in my heart b
"What The Hard Times Taught Me"[Lyrics] Sometimes it feels like I learned to see in the dark Like something came together when I fell apart Getting up again when my knees were skinned Showed me every end is where you hit restart I wish there was an easy way But I found the light in darker days I believe that I'm where you want me I can see from the place you brought me There's so much life in what the hard times taught me Though it didn't go the way I planned it I learned how to live open-handed I came alive in what the hard times taught me What the hard times taught me Got me where you want me Only the broken can tell you what healing is When we're in need of forgiveness we learn to forgive There's no rewind, just crooked lines But Love is kind, and makes us whole again I'm wiser, and I'm kinder Than I was before It broke me, but you woke me And I thank you Lord
Wow! The wisdom you share in your music leaves me awestruck time and again. Wow! Really like this song, lifts me up in His truth. Thank you! Blessings.
All I've been praying for is to be put where I'm supposed to be and I went through incredible trauma after I asked. I have still been praying as hard as I can and this song feels like a sign.
Yes glory go Jason Gray great song. What The Hard Times Taught Me is a very inspirational uplifting encouraging song. I love it listening on Sat. 10-3-2020. UA-cam Music brought me here.
Sharhonda, this is a good sounding song with good lyrics that talk about how God uses the hard times to bring us to where and who He wants us to be. Glad that UA-cam Music has introduced you to this song.
To Reflect... If God created Us and let people live according to their own will (Free Will), And the desires of the Hearts, Or just by FAITH, THEN For whom he left the Holy Bible written as Laws and Commandments in the New Testament, TEACHING what's right and what's wrong, what's do, And what's not to do in life??? God says in Hebrews 12:14, That "Without HOLINESS no one will see God or be saved..." So how to get Holiness??? " Just obeying everything that God left written as LAWS and COMMANDMENTS in the Holy Bible in the New Testament, For the Laws and commandments are the sanctification of body, soul and spirit. And not only live by Faith. For Faith without ACTION is a dead thing ... James 2:14 Through this truth of the Holy Bible we can know that life is to be lived according to God's will, And not according to our own will... in the end; If it were to live according to our will, God would not have left the commandments in the new testament to us obey, that is the new covenant.....
Whow, this song just reminds me of what the hard times taught me. If i look back on every hard time i had, i've learned so much from the Lord. I say thank you Lord for every hard time i had!! Sure learned so much through the hard times❤❤💯💯

I would appreciate some prayers. I am facing major life changes and have some traumatic memories ruminating in my mind. To give a brief summary of what is occurring I lose the health insurance I currently have by law in September which terrifies me. I am at risk of health conditions and problems because of my failing to take care of myself. I also am graduating with a Bachelors degree on Thursday (5/6/21) and have no idea what I am going to do with myself after. I worry I will not get an adequate job that provides enough for me to have a good quality of life. And I have had horrible traumatic work experiences in the past and have really struggled to thrive in work environments. I also really struggle with the idea of having responsibilities and being independent, more than most people. I am 25 (almost 26) and still live with my parents and instantaneously turn into an emotional wreck when I think of moving out. I also abnormally struggle with change and self sabotage to prevent it from happening even when I know it would be beneficial. Then to top everything off I have the harmful behaviors that my Dad has as well as what my Mom has so although I really long for a relationship to have someone to confide in and grow in faith, I also think maybe its better I never get in one because of the outcome with my parents and since I have both flaws, that just makes me more toxic and even harder to change. I also am struggling with a pornography addiction. I am not sure what specifically I want prayers for but based of my summary you probably can think of something. Health, growth, providing job, release from the addiction, self esteem boost, etc. Thank you to anyone who helps out. Also, before anyone asks yes I am part of a strong church.
My brother just died 4 weeks ago and Jesus is putting beautiful songs like this to help me through this.

"What The Hard Times Taught Me"[Lyrics]
Sometimes it feels like I learned to see in the dark
Like something came together when I fell apart
Getting up again when my knees were skinned
Showed me every end is where you hit restart
I wish there was an easy way
But I found the light in darker days
I believe that I'm where you want me
I can see from the place you brought me
There's so much life in what the hard times taught me
Though it didn't go the way I planned it
I learned how to live open-handed
I came alive in what the hard times taught me
What the hard times taught me
Got me where you want me
Only the broken can tell you what healing is
When we're in need of forgiveness we learn to forgive
There's no rewind, just crooked lines
But Love is kind, and makes us whole again

Than I was before
It broke me, but you woke me
And I thank you Lord
