As a teacher, I really appreciate your style of teaching. Thank you for the time you have put into your videos.
Love your easy to follow instructions, Im hooked and desperate to get to grips with PS, thank you
Thank you! You'll get it, it just takes a little practice. Thanks for following along.
I really appreciate your teaching style! It's simple to understand & your pace is just right! Thanks!!
so grateful for your fantastic detailed videos, thank you so much 🙏
Terry you are an amazing teacher. So easy to follow and stop to explain related things without getting off track. Everything is so clearly explained and with an easy breezy disposition makes it more fun to learn!
This is fantastic, Terry! Easy to follow and the pace is perfect. So nice to have such expert instruction!
Great series you are presenting Terry. I must admit haven't opened Photoshop in awhile, you got me fired up now. Thank you for your time as always much appreciated 🖖
Great to hear Stuart. It is a really cool program and I think you will open it up more often after these classes. Thanks for watching.
This is my second Video, I'm going through all of them eventually. Very easy to understand, THANK YOU SO MUCH !
Thank you for producing these videos. PS is overwhelming so I appreciate how you break it down but I MUST practice between each video as there are so many steps to learn for using every tool to its max. Wow! What a dense program.
It really comes down to doing some practice. I know that doing the same moves, just a few times will ingrain the ideas. Good luck and thanks for watching.
I've been a Lightroom user for some time, and never ventured into Photoshop much, most because of intimidation I guess, but your style fits mine and make much more sense. Thank You! I will continue through as many videos as I can. I am a PC user so some things are different and I have to stop and search for the equivalent action, but I cannot find how to tailor the options bar to include some of the functions you showed in the last video. Can you shed some light? Thanks again.
HI Bill, welcome to Photoshop! I don't work on a PC (obviously) but I know a lot of people do. I created a list of shortcuts to make the PC use easier. You can find that at my web site: imagelight.com/freebies
As far as tailoring the options bar, that is bar that goes across the top, I don't think you can make any changes to how it appears. The options appear based on which tool you have active.
I hope this helps.
Thank you again for such beautiful explaination. Love the way you are doing it , please keep doing it , helps me immens .
Thank you, I will. Be sure to practice some between the episodes and you will see your skills advance quickly!
very good - thanks Terry. The pace and presentation are perfect
You are very welcome. I try to teach the way I would want to learn. Thanks for watching.
Thanks Terry, another excellent video tutorial. I am following closely and it's all making sense.
At 11.41 the sample colour looked pink, not like the colour was trying to duplicate. love your videos by the way.. Subscribed.
Thank you for watching. I went back and looked and the color was kind of a flesh tone that I grabbed from the bird. On my monitor it matches perfectly. This might be an affect of it being transferred to UA-cam. Thanks for the subscribe too!
The crop tool: Is there a simple way to change from a landscape crop to a portrait crop or vice versa. Let's say 5x7 to 7x5, similar to using the 'X' key in Lightroom?
I just got photoshop 2024 but I don't see the lasso selection tool, where is it hiding?
It should be the third tool down if they are all in a vertical row. It is usually collapsed with the polygonal tools. If you hover your mouse on the lower right corner of that tool, there is a drop down, fly out list of other tools in the section. The Lasso Tool should be there. Also, the letter "L" will access the tool, however, if the last tool you accessed was one of the polygonal tools, then "L" will bring what every you last used, up. Good luck!
Sir, I can't thank you enough. You are the only one on youtube who took enough time to explain these tools in detail. They were such puzzles for me. Thank you very much and I hope your lessons reach more people who looking for help❤
Glad I could help, thanks for watching.
