Good but far from the best, Sima Yi, Zhuge Liang, Zhou Yu, Lu Xun, off the top of my head, dunno about Lu Meng, I know he died of illness and had a hand in Guan Yu's capture I believe.
@@xShinigamiRyukuux yes, and hua xiong is the strongest officer in dong zhuo army (if you do not count lu bu into), and then i think that when hua xiong is going to ding tao, he was also bring along the flags of lu bu army, and then the battle background is at night or dawn, so, cao cao army cannot see who is that officer clearly , and then think that hua xiong is lu bu, this is very common situation ❤
And there's definitely no fucking chance of us ever losing to Liu Bei! We're claiming his damn head for his treachery! Yes, in case you don't know, he outright opposes us in the final chapter of the hypothetical route. Sorry if I spoiled it for you.
1) Get 2 maxed-out halberds for Lu Bu in Ambition mode with cyclone / induction / slash / flash / velocity / explosive 2) Equip him with both 3) Play Battle of Dingtao (Hypothetical) on highest difficulty The amount of sheer awesome that results will amaze.
You need to get your Blacksmith up to LVL 36 in Ambition Mode (doing so will allow you to unlock these four options: Buy Special Weapons [always gives you a LVL 10 weapon depending on what is in stock], Reforge, Temper and Weapon Fusion). Buying LVL 10 weapons costs a hefty amount, so you're better off doing Hard or Chaos Mode to obtain these. Reforging and Tempering are different altogether, the same goes for Weapon Fusion. Reforging allows you to discard three weapons of your choosing in exchange for two new weapons with high abilities. Some of these may prove beneficial, others may be lacking in refinement. It takes 2 Weapon Materials per process, so make sure you farm plenty in the Skirmish types of battles. Tempering allows two weapons of your choice to be merged into a singular weapon, which takes the abilities of both into account. It will override some abilities that are crucial, so be cautious while doing this. It always takes 5 - 10 per Temper process, so much like the Reforging, always stock up on Weapon Materials. Weapon Fusion is where it gets interesting. As you're aware, weapons can hold up to six abilities altogether, making them deadly on the field. You can also augment the strength of your weapon by a single point each time or even change the element (Upgrading the weapon strength takes 500 Gems - changing the element costs 50). This process doesn't cost Weapon Materials like the other two - instead, it costs Gems which you obtain after completing any Mission with a certain number of Feats accomplished (Difficulty of mission amplifies this amount extremely). Each Ability has its own Gem cost, (many of them can go up to Rank 10 - others have no need for an upgrade) so experiment around a bit, but make sure the weapon you WANT to apply these weapons to is your Base Weapon. Once you have the setup you want, make sure you do an interim save otherwise you'll have to redo the process again.
1:40 I can honestly picture smoke coming off the guitar for how hot this part of the song is and when you’re going in as LU BU killing every last obstacle in your way for complete victory over the chaos it only makes sense for it to be playing.

That's literally what Lu Bu is. He slew the Eunuchs who started a pointless rebellion just for power, killed off Dong Zhuo due to his age of tyranny and even defeated the usurpers who took the Emperor into custody - Li Jue and Guo Si. He won't stand for a pointless rebellion or fight if it means he gets little to no satisfaction out of it. He pretty much likes to rule with an iron fist so to speak.
I really like this stage OST and the setting it is. It's not only the final hypothetical stage of Lu Bu's faction but it also serves as the definitive theme of Chang'an in the Battle Royal DLC. This is the only stage that we will be able to kill alot of famous officers in 5 factions, including all 3 or 2 co-founders of Wei, Wu, Shu, Jin and Other factions, 6 most popular officers in the series, 5 additional XL officers, Zuo Ci and finally Lu Bu himself. Totally a no holds bar elimination battle.
Ultimate Difficulty, Lu Bu, badass setups for both his Explosive Halberd and Soul Crusher, Recapture of Chang'an. *The sheer awesomeness you will get from this is just speechless.*
I like to see it as Lingqi being more important in the historical route due to her being real (though we don’t know her real name) and Dioachan being more important in the hypothetical route given that she was a fictional character
Fun fact: Lingqi has lines at Dingtao if you play her in free mode. It's likely that at some point in development, she was on the ledger for the hypothetical route. I believe she has lines at Chang'an as well, but don't quote me on that.
I hope for dynasty warriors 9 they keep lu bu's story ill be dissapointed if they dont... But anyway who else wants hua xiong playable?!? If u read the encyclopedia it says hua xiong is lu bus equal and he hasnt been playable all these years?!? Come on
I agree, though I'd say Gao Shun is more relevant for Lu Bu's side than Hua Xiong is. I hope that DW9 focuses more on Other generals across the board. There are already enough Shu/Wu/Wei officers (too much to focus on in story mode actually) and Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu and Xi Liang sides could really offer some amazing Kingdom stories.
It sucks that this track and stage is only in Xtreme Legends. I have the original DW8. But unfortunately I have no intention on getting XL. The original is already time consuming as it is.
Anyone else bothered that while Lu Bu was also a master archer, Bow is one of the worse weapons you can use on him as a side weapon? I had to switch to Shotgun(Actually crossbow) as his sidearm due to that
