I would make it almost fully loaded. Maybe pull out like the biggest turbines, and possibly the mid-sized ones, just to reduce the harder to obtain parts? Then pull out enough CPU blocks to still make it work. Then, if you *want* to add turbines you can add some CPU if needed. Thanks Jeff!
Nexus is a nice name, i guess "OCCULUS" could also work. For the CPU. Basic and improved cpu cores would do the trick. Making the station relatively cheap to call in initially and reduce the production capability leaving room for placing constructors, furnaces and such.
looking awesome! amazing what you can do in estimated 6h :D my 2 ct: - namewise: just for giggles - 'RUBIX' as kinda version of rubik's cube. allways thought you are a magician changing blocks to fit :) - spawn-level: if it is not too hard to get the materials for higher spawn-levels, I would always prefer most equiped versions. ofc you can fit out lower level builds but it is convinient to just spawn in what you want - done deal. - Helios bays not need guiding lights if it eases your build stress. since the base will be leveled (O-key) players should be able to dock. if one places it crooked ... 'fun' is programmed no matter if there are guiding lights or not - minus 5 kW is due to checked out imho: I have no RE2-numbers but that can quickly exceed if you switch on multiple cons or decons/furnace at once in RE1. Therefore the areas for more gens are welcomed. What about fuel tank areas if needed btw? Keep on the beautiful work. Looking forward for the release
Just throwing out there, the station has 12 landing pads And the number 12 in latin is Duodecim (Doo-o de-sim) Of the top of my head it at least sounds unique 😃
Station looks great J. One comment though, I'd move the generators and fuel tanks away from the CPU room. Just in case someone mods the station and pulls too much power from those generators.
Really digging the design of everything. ❤ The name is fitting. I personally like when a build is fully geared. But I'm comfortable with stripping-down a barebones build in creative if needed.
I feel like it should be "Hexus" station. For core level, I say minimal. Players can always fill it out to their specifications in creative, or would enjoy building it up in survival. For the solar panels, I wonder if there is a way to walk the array up the angled bottoms instead of leaving them as square boxes hanging down. Basically, blend them more with the angular shape of the hull. Should have plenty of room before you hit the bay areas. Don't think you need guide LCDs for the bays either. There are no side walls to collide with. Keep the spokes thin.
Hey Jeff, your mission if you choose to accept is to make it at various cores' so one could make a decision at anytime to pick anyone to bring in either late-early game; mid- game; end- game. So like a core one (1), core (3), core (7), or even a 9 according to needs/wants/desires, or that maybe too much work. ....this message will self-destruct in 5....4....3....2.....1......
For me, less cores is better as enjoy building the creation as I go. Adds neat game play and immersion. Either way, another great build i will be trying out in a play through soon. Thanks much.
Axis is a turning point, I think having a base is a turning point in Empyrion. Once you get a base going it’s a central part that you go back to to drop off materials. Weather it be a space base or your first base, it is also an accomplishment. I do like the idea of less lcds, however I think your idea of the one in the middle there would be great. As far as the size goes, due to its affordability I think it’s a great starter space base. However some might like it fully decked out. Everyone has there own preference. Me personally I will probably remove the larger upgrades and use it as a starter space base.

The shape you have created is a non-uniform "Great Rhombicuboctahedron". I've no idea if that will help you with a name or not J :) Amazing looking creation, I'm looking forward to trying it out.
Name: Alvius or Alvarium from Latin translates as bee hive. Because it's shaped little like hive, and you will bring a ton off ressource like a bee to it's hive
I was going to ask about beds, granted its more a single player thing, but you already had it covered 😊

I actually love the name nexus tbh

Also Nexus is fine. It's a hub.

As for release, you could do a double release, 1 as say halfway done so core 4 to 5 and call it (final name) [core 4/5] and 2 (final name) complete

That is iffy unless you can get the unlock lvl down to about 15 or 10, hmmmm maybe I'm crazy dwl.

Thank you! I may use one of those :) And thanks again!
Space ball 1
lol! :)
Hey J., if you leave it at level 25, you should think of having the medium wifi units installed, instead of the basic ones.
Good point. Better wifi Is nice! :) And thanks again!

It should come out as a Core 3-5 so it's easy and cheap to build with all the room for upgrades as needed. Name suggestion: Tesseract (or Hexeract)
Horcrux
Just mark down the upgrade locations and let them do the upgrading themselves. That way, you don't have multiple blueprints of the same thing.
Agreed!
