Yes, the vast majority of Danes support our constitutional monarchy and the royal family.

@@kname1882 Wrong. Please write and tell us what you think about our monarchy, democracy and the king. He is a very nice guy - the king. In Denmark we have freedom of speech, and this also applies to opinions about the king

Yes, the monarchy is generally very well liked. Our queen(s) and now king are of the people. I've met Queen maghrete once and my father was a royal guard. The family seem very down to earth they don't rule over us but reign with us.
Some others remark that 'we don't want some stupid president.' Which I think is silly, we have a prime.linster and its basically the same thing.
Personally I view them as something akin to living founding fathers, that's the best comparison I can make for Americans, don't know if that helps you.
In summary. They are VERY popular, but have basically no real power.
Compared to the English monarchy, they seem to aloof for me. Too aristocratic if that makes any sense.
