Definitely a Beautiful vehicle! I was blown away sitting in it! Crazy to think it’s 52 years old! Funny thing was it only took me about an hour or so to film. Normally it’s about 2-3 hours per car. This review flew by as fast as this car goes lol! Any plans for the weekend?
@@WhitieInVermont there ya go! I’m jealous we need rain! We’re almost to a drought stage I think lol! Hasn’t rained here in two weeks! Temps have been up too. I don’t think I’ve had my lawn struggle this early in the season before. How’s your lawn looking?
@@GarageGear looking good actually. I've used some lawn starter fertilizer and grubx this year. I wanted to make sure that I have the roots covered this year to make sure that the problem isn't under the soil. It's the only thing I could think of that I haven't tried. I'll put some more grubx out again in a few months. I'm also doing some container gardening this year. Potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and corn. Fingers crossed that everything does well.
@@WhitieInVermont that’s awesome Whitie! Your meals are going to be all set for the next couple of seasons in terms of meals! As long as we keep getting some decent rain you’ll be good! 👍👍 my wife planted two apple trees last year so I hope we get some later this fall!
This is the car I drove to high school As a senior in 1974. Bought it for $1000 from the original owner. Fun fact..When I bought the H/O I had a truck with commercial tags on it. When I registered the H/O the DMV asked if I wanted new tags. I said whatever was cheaper. So my H/O had commercial tags on it. Then the gas shortage hit. You can only buy $2 of gas every other day. And I'm driving a 455. Except anyone with commercial tags can buy gas any day with no limit. Thank you DMV another one of the many cars I should not have sold.
my step dad has a 69 hurst olds that he hasn't moved since 1991 we finally started doing some work on it this year and i can't wait to get it running and looking nice again

Hey Richard, thank you for the kind words! I had to do hours of research before filming this car but the more I did the more fascinated I was with this car. I really enjoyed learning about its history! It’s truly a legend! Thanks for sharing! 👍
