I agree with a lot of what you say, I think there’s a big difference in the generations in the UK and also where and when you were brought up. For me in the 70’s in the balckcountry our evening meal was a rack of pork ribs that the butcher would either throw away because of no value or charge a handful of pennies for, we ate chicklings, brains, tripe etc because it would fill and was cheap. Tinned food was always kept in the cupboard and more bought every week even if it wasn’t needed immediately, never knew when there was going to be shortages/strikes. This meant most of us working class families lived in a similar way, made preppers out of all of us. Not preppers as in end of the world but preppers in the end of our immediate existence, dad looses a job but we had tinned food to fall back on. It’s always left me feeling that I must have reserves in the cupboard, my twin 6 year olds are taught how to shoot, to recognise edible plants, what birds make what calls. All that done so that I know when I die they will always be able to put meat on the table, and to me that’s the need of survival and preppers! It doesn’t need to be an end of the world event, can be something simple like when up north couldn’t drink tap water due to there being too much chlorine put in it, I have a water butt to filer and purify or water my veg in a dry summer. I do have grab bags and certain items like small cookset and shovel always in my car, prepare for the worst but hope for the best. Great video and look forward to the others to come

There was some unusual hot weather here in England recently and the government released a quick bulletin reminding people to carry some drinking water with them, IMHO useful for kids heading out for the day who often forget. Many people in the public sphere rebelled against this and were very noisily angry that anyone might require them to take even that basic measure of care for their own health, they hate to even imagine that they will not always be catered to wherever they are.
I had to watch this again. This video actually made me feel better about things. You might also want to add you have to be okay in your own head. If you are not okay in your own head, you won't survive.

I only have one 'god', and that is Gaia. This earth will go on in fine style long after we've annihilated ourselves. We humans are amazing, but deeply flawed... Drew
I agree. Our mind is the greatest tool God has given us. Being truly realistic about our circumstances is the key to joy, peace and ultimately to survival in grave situations. I am interested in hearing more about using the Daisy 880 for hunting rabbits. I have been shooting one, using a Stoeger 4 X 32 fixed objective scope, for about a month (200 or so pellets), but am not yet satisfied that it is accurate enough. I keep getting flyers, one or two out of every 10 shoots using a variety of Crosman pellets. That is what is readily available in stores in South Dakota. The rifle is a good shooter for the price. Do you have any advice on improving the accuracy? By the way, it seems from a distance the situation for finding places to hunt and shoot is not that much different in South Dakota than in your area. There is a lot of open land on the prairie, but it is mostly private and being farmed or ranched. There are some public lands that are available for hunting. During hunting season, the police and game warden expect and welcome licensed hunters on these plots. The restriction is you cannot use the land for target practice. Some years the game quickly learn to move onto the private lands. That means private and club ranges for practice and getting permission from landowners for hunting.
I've only shot the 880 a few times, but my buddy has one so I'll check it out with some different ammo and see what I think about it - it definitely has the power for bunny hunting out to 25yards. I've never been happy with crosman ammo for super accuracy, I'll try some others I have. Thanks Will Drew
@@PlanetDrewdog Thanks for your help, I'll mail order some quality pellets and try a variety of them. That means more shooting, no hardship there. I get good accuracy with Crosman pellets in my Weirauch HW50s and Stoeger XM1. Those rifles are accurate enough with Crosman pellets, so I never tried anything else. Now I will try the new pellets in the Weirauch and the Stoeger. Maybe the good accuracy I mentioned above was just acceptable accuracy. An advantage you have in England, is air gun shops. I imagine those shops give the air gun shooter a level of service for air guns that does not exist in the United States. Another advantage is that Crosman has competition when it comes to selling pellets retail.
Thanks for your advice on the Daisy 880 accuracy problem. I tried Gamo Red Fire pellets and a different Crosman pellet (10.5 grain Round Nose). They gave better accuracy and much fewer fliers. The fliers I’m getting now are probably my shooting and not the gun. A $60 gun with practical accuracy (accurate enough to hunt rabbits) is appealing.
Great video. After reading many, many books about the Holocaust, I can tell you that the human mind was usually the way someone was able to survive, not strength or goods. Can't wait till the next one!

Amen, brother, but you forgot one last element and that's faith!
Faith in yourself surely.?
I don't trust anyone anymore
'trust no one'... been tattooed on my right arm since I was 18...
I know some people may find my comment Heartless but I am here just to see End of The World,I know it’s selfish I wil go through with it myself together with everyone else. I love ❤️ life but lately people have completely strayed away from path of the Gods whom ever they might be, I don’t discriminate against anyone but this isn’t the right path for humanity…
The Video was awesome I want more, I am not Bigot…
With love ❤️ from Canadian Nut 🌰 😂…
I only have one 'god', and that is Gaia. This earth will go on in fine style long after we've annihilated ourselves. We humans are amazing, but deeply flawed...

Hard to have hope when you live in Kenada 😢😅
👍✌️🖖
Memento Mori.
Thanks Will

Wow 😮so much editing😮 expensive lens
Great video. After reading many, many books about the Holocaust, I can tell you that the human mind was usually the way someone was able to survive, not strength or goods. Can't wait till the next one!
Yes indeed. It's incredible how much resilience we have when we're pushed to the limit, so much strength that people have but don't discover until they are truly tested.
You had better be able to eat stuff that would make a billy goat puke.
If ya can't eat it you aint hungry enough 👍
