🌟 Dawaki Empowerment For Women! 🌟(DEW) Project

In 2023, #Becauseican collaborated with The Nikki Udezue Foundation for a two-day birthday project that left a lasting impact. The first day involved visiting a school to distribute menstrual pads and educate girls on hygiene. The second day focused on hospital visits, providing essential supplies and covering bills for patients. The success of these initiatives prompted a renewed partnership in 2024.
On June 24, 2024, the Dawaki Empowerment for Women (DEW) project was launched under the #Becauseican initiative, bringing hope and transformation to the Dawaki community.
Globally, women often shoulder the burden of homemaking amid economic hardships. In Nigeria, rising costs have disproportionately affected small traders, exacerbating poverty and gender-based violence.
Through DEW, powered by #Becauseican, lives have been revitalized. Twenty(20) women received critical supplies-such as rice, tomato paste, bullion cubes, vegetable oil-and empowering business grants. This support not only secures their futures but also ignites resilience and empowerment across the community.
