      You can slow down the video by clicking the settings button (the little gear) and I say what every stitch is and it’s also written on the screen. This is an advanced beginner pattern meaning you should already have basic crochet knowledge

    Dont understand the beginning at all. I get the slipstitch, chain two, 2 single crochet in the first loop made then chain two turn around go into the first loop and then you have a triangle and blah blah blah. I dont know how people understand and when i try reading im left with a big hole in my work. Even slowed down i go crosseyed with your explanation.

      Is it maybe your tension? Depending on the yarn and tension, it can have different results. I tried making one in another 4weight yarn and it was not good at all. So far, Pima cotton and Color theory are the best for this project. I hope that helps.

    Somehow even though I count all of the stitches there is always a different amount of picot single crochet like 6 on one side and 7 on the other side. I even tried to start from the very beginning but this time counting the stitches and using stitch markers how do I fix this problem?

    • @TheTurtleTrunk
      @TheTurtleTrunk  11 місяців тому

      Hi! If the sides are uneven, then there is either an extra stitch or you're missing a stitch. The most common places to miss a stitch are the beginning and end of the rows, and the top of the triangle. Make sure that after working into the CH 2 at the top, you're working into the next ST and not into the chain stitches. Hope that helps!
