Sûrat Al-Qadr
(The Night of Decree) XCVII
In the Name of Allâh,
the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1. Verily, We have sent it (this Qur'ân) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree).[1] 2. And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? 3. The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allâh in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 4. Therein descend the angels and the Rûh [Jibrîl (Gabrîl)] by Allâh's Permission with all Decrees, 5. (All that night), there is Peace (and Goodness from Allâh to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn.[2]

Au nom d'Allah, le Tout Miséricordieux, le Très Miséricordieux.
1. Nous l'avons certes, fait descendre (le Coran) pendant la nuit d'Al-Qadr.
2. Et qui te dira ce qu'est la nuit d'Al-Qadr?
3. La nuit d'Al-Qadr est meilleure que mille mois.
4. Durant celle-ci descendent les Anges ainsi que l'Esprit(2), par permission de leur Seigneur pour tout ordre.
5. Elle est paix et salut jusqu'à l'apparition de l'aube.
ﺳﻮﺭﺊ ﻗﺪﺭ (١) ﻣﻜﯽ ﮨﮯ ﺍﻭﺭ ﺍﺱ ﻣﯿﮟ ﭘﺎﻧﭻ ﺁﯾﺘﯿﮟ ﮨﯿﮟ۔
ﺷﺮﻭﻉ ﻛﺮﺗﺎ ﮨﻮﮞ ﺍﹴ ﺗﻌﺎﻟﲐ ﻛﮯ ﻧﺎﻡ ﺳﮯ ﺟﻮ ﺑﮍﺍ ﻣﮩﺮﺑﺎﻥ ﻧﮩﺎﯾﺖ ﺭﺣﻢ ﻭﺍﻻ ﮨﮯ۔
( ١ ) ﯾﻘﯿﻨﺎﹰ ﮨﻢ ﻧﮯ ﺍﺳﮯ ﺷﺐ ﻗﺪﺭ ﻣﯿﮟ ﻧﺎﺯﻝ ﻓﺮﻣﺎﯾﺎ۔ (٢)
( ٢ ) ﺗﻮ ﻛﯿﺎ ﺳﻤﺠﮭﺎ ﻛﮧ ﺷﺐ ﻗﺪﺭ ﻛﯿﺎ ﮨﮯ؟ (٣)
( ٣ ) ﺷﺐ ﻗﺪﺭ ﺍﯾﻚ ﮨﺰﺍﺭ ﻣﮩﯿﻨﻮﮞ ﺳﮯ ﺑﮩﺘﺮ ﮨﮯ۔ (٤)
( ٤ ) ﺍﺱ ( ﻣﯿﮟ ﮨﺮ ﰷﻡ ) ﻛﮯ ﺳﺮﺍﻧﺠﺎﻡ ﺩﯾﻨﮯ ﻛﻮ ﺍﭘﻨﮯ ﺭﺏ ﻛﮯ ﺣﻜﻢ ﺳﮯ ﻓﺮﺷﺘﮯ ﺍﻭﺭ ﺭﻭﺡ ( ﺟﺒﺮﺍﺋﯿﻞ ) ﺍﺗﺮﺗﮯ ﮨﯿﮟ۔ (٥)
( ٥ ) ﯾﮧ ﺭﺍﺕ ﺳﺮﺍﺳﺮ ﺳﻼﻣﺘﯽ ﻛﯽ ﮨﻮﺗﯽ ﮨﮯ (٦) ﺍﻭﺭﻓﺠﺮ ﻛﮯ ﻃﻠﻮﻉ ﮨﻮﻧﮯ ﺗﻚ ( ﺭﮨﺘﯽ ﮨﮯ
