I've heard in some Chinese cultures people prefer to peel their grapes, probably because some varieties in the world havetough skins, even thin skin varieties get stuck in your teeth, and also the texture of a peeled graoe is pretty pleasant, it squishes like mandarin orange or a berry. I've never bothered trying because I don't generally eat many grapes anyway, but it does sound better if they were peeled lol
