Best advice. Because we tend to do things just for the sake of doing it. Not to learn from it. That's a terrible mistake.
You’re welcome
Ok, I understand what your trying to say but these sheets are actually helpful. you will get to know what kind of questions are asked by these companies. and Practicing those will definitely help. It’s better than randomly solving
Bro why do you need controversies every time???? Sheets are the most structured way to solve problems ..than solving random problem...I know you can't digest other growth ..but its fine. but please make this space as positive space
He does this for clout every time, he feels there’s a need to counter everything and prove his superiority.
I guess sheets are not for FAANG. It's good for learning but not for Interview.
@@takshpanchal8456 What do you mean bro. I was asked my interview question at amazon mostly based on the sheet with a slight variation. Don't fall for his bullshit.
@@kumarsamaksha7207 can i have that sheet?
bro everyone has their own view ..respect others views ... No can can force u to do something .. Like did UA-cam automatically played this video ??? if u agree with someone's view then follow them ..otherwise u can simply ignore them .. Don't expect like minded people in this world .. Happy learning
It is in those who do not finish anything that they have started and when someone does, they find faults in it.
waah mzaa aya bdia maari good bro
well said
Your tips are like our parents and teachers tips of studying for IITJEE in past.
-Always be ready for test
-Make a note of approach when solved good question
-Prepare your own sheet to revise through everytime, etc.
But hey, I fucked up, I wasted time earlier, I don't have time now, I just want to get myself as ready as possible before the interview. What should I do? -----> Cheatsheet comes in. Its not the best way but probably the fastest way. It has been curated to cover almost all popular concepts and topics. You will not be a master ofcourse but you will be acquainted.
And to say no one has benefitted from the sheet is wrong. Not all but many have.
do what works for you
@@OrdinaryPersonah I was about to write that down. Glad you just said it.
10 years in tech and I realized that each interviewer has his/her brain wired in a particular way. It is important to understand that wiring. Preparing from dsa interviews is associated with stress, panic, lack of confidence, fear, and confusion.
One needs to first research before directly diving in to understand what approach works for that individual.
Can be dsa sheets, can be leetcode, can be college professor notes.. or maybe coding jams.
Very right! I find DSA sheets to be problem repository, which is helpful for beginners like me to solve problems on the topic which I just learnt.
Good advice. But I think at some point it is good to practice random questions as we will not know the tag of questions in the interviews
I am not much experienced in this. But from my beginner's perspective it is much more effective to learn different approaches of different topic tags first rather than trying to solve a random question and get stuck and learn not much in 3-4hrs. Whereas if I am already prepared for all the various topics I will be able to solve most of the random question and identify the topic tag.
I do agree with the second point, that you should always be interview ready. Because I feel the same before interview less confident and feel pressurized. Because of the less confidence.
hey Bro
Please do videos on Trees, GRaphs, BFS, DFS, and Dynamic programming. Waiting excitingly for those videos. I have completed the whole DS and Algo Bootcamp until now and I am confident about the completed concepts. Thanks for that. YOU ROCK!!!

@@sarthakj52 striver's playlist. Simply one of the best for learning hard dsa topics....
Hey plz share the alternatives
Hey, Kunal I agree with whatever you just said about not limiting ourselves but just wanted to ask you that, as you said those sheets are not the proper approach but aren't they like a more structured way of preparing for a beginner to prepare rather than just going on different platforms and solving random problems. And we see many people getting benefitted from that so how could you justify saying that those are not the proper way when after solving some "N" number of questions we would of course get some idea on problem-solving and then use the platforms for future.
Please don't take this as a negative comment just wanted to get some clarity behind your thought. BTW love your content.
The people succesful might be ones that completed the sheets but also revised them thoroughly and practiced more questions. So they didn't blindly did questions but understand them and that created the method on how to approach problems.
Yes exactly 😒
My advice to you would be to take all free advice, this video and the DSA sheet included with a giant lump of salt. Don't just _FOLLOW_ somebody else's approach blindly. Prepare well in advance and just do a bit of everything and you'll find out what works for you in no time. _THAT_ should be he approach you follow. Not just some sheet of 450 questions or some UA-camr's advice. Use all these as a mere reference. But your original path/approach/whateveryouwannacallit, should be uniquely determined by yourself. Or else, in the long run you'll start seeing the cracks appear.
So basically you mean we need to practice questions and come up with our own analysis on how xyz problems are solved rather than just doing 'n' no. of coding questions based upon someone else's learning and understanding.
Thank you Kunal :) saw many videos but you brought the CLARITY finally...
Here is the man who knows solution to the every one's(coder)query.......such a valuable points...💖💖💖

I agree with him every single time. I’m fact Me and him belongs to the same college. But just this one time, the exception comes bw the notion of both of us. Sheets are not bad whatsoever (even though I haven’t followed any) but still any approach is good if it’s pointing your curve upside.

i fallow the sheets because that is really helping me we go by topic vice and without knowing the topic we cannot able to solve ,
kunal please also share about the projects we also need projects for the interview how we can make good projects if we are using Java
What he is trying to say is, if students are given some important questions to follow, they follow it blindly. Here there will be no scope in building logical thinking. Before going to interview, we may not remember. Preparing the dsa sheets just 2-3 weeks before is not recommended to anyone. He has raised a valid point
We dont solve those questions in sheet because those are the questions that are definitely gonna be asked but we solve it cause it trains our mind to think in multiple cases and sure sometime we might come across a similar pattern.
Hi Kunal. why thumps down questions are not recommended to do by you. I don't understand why questions have more thumps down compared to up ? Is it based on how frequently they have been asked in interview. I am trying to understand why are they not worth doing it.
Please upload more video after queue Kunal please 😥

How many problems should i solve on each topic ?
Thanks a lot kunal :)

Yupp. Exploring patterns is an amazing trick in building logics... One can be thinking of the logic whole day but if he sit and explore some pattern in the testcases, the problem can be cracked way easily!
I agree with everything that you said. But I have question,as far as I know, CP puts our foot through the door to get an interview. I am freshmen at college. How are non-tier 1 students supposed to get an interview call without doing CP? because if I am going to apply for a job and ask for a referral, I can send my CP profile and establish some credibility, thus increasing my chances to get an interview call as a non tier 1 student.. Please tell me how am I supposed to get my foot in the door (get an interview call) without CP? This is a genuine doubt from a junior, please reply. Anybody can reply. Please advice.
The answer is long you can just look at my profile

He doesn't know those topics 😂😂
here's what you should do if you are late for your placements
-> Pick a sheet. Solve a topic from the sheet (a topic, not a sum).
-> Go to either codeforces, or leetcode or any other platform and try to solve problems on that topic. PS:- The similar problems in leetcode can sometimes suggest some good problems.
Your main thinking should be:
If I have learnt a topic and I have done X amount of sums of that topic from that sheet then I should do atleast X/2 (50% of the X) new problems of the same topics. This worked for me. You might counter by saying "Oh but now I already know what topic to expect from the problems". Fine. You can try some ladders. You can do 2-3 topics at one time. Spend some time to gather new problems related to those topics. Mix it and pick one randomly. Or you can follow someone's ladders which allows this type of filtering. Or do hard problems of the same topic. Everyone has different approaches. Spend some time coming up with ways that you feel the best. Some people might just pick up problems from "your rating +500 or -500" and it has worked for them
Can you tell me , is it better to understand the concept and directly jump to question of leetcode/sheet or first solve 2 to 3 questtion with the help of that mentor??
Hey kunal kushwaha please continue ds algo series .
In Short, Beginners should not follow DSA Sheets. They should focus on micro concepts that will help in to solve problems and LOGIC Building.
