I mean I got to play it on the update but they said they're removing it and just turn us into ghosts instead so we can still run around the map so I don't think the lobby part is coming back
the devs reverted the update back for everyone due to all of the criticism they were getting for the movement system, animations, etc. so don't worry, they will be adding back the overhaul update, but just at a later date.
