Arshad had no support, training or funding because Pakistan would rather pay attention to creating Talibans but Now Pak will b paying to athletic games. Neeraj is also a gene from Pakistani regions. Over 99% of India is kacchra. All your sportsmen r immigrants from pak

There is always only one champion. There is no comparison here, Arshad is a talent who achieved with without much help or resourses. He comes from a village and poor background.
While Neeraj was training since 60 days for it with a German coach. Arshad only received 2 or 3 weeks of training.
Both did well, Neeraj was having probably his worst day.

Poll reported "he didn't even have a proper ground to practice on" and basically lacked much more including proper training and guidance. Despite this fact he showed well and the report about him not being able to buy the javelin is also true. Have you seen his residence?. Not a single platform in our country owns him and his records and it's truly sad that no other sport has the required training and funds. Despite winning the silver medal last year, we won't see him flourishing financially. Isnt it weird?. The thing in neeraj's favor is his consistency around the higher 80s and that alone has netted him so much medals. Whereas the likes of Naderm will blow hot and cold. Nadeem is Sehwag, Neeraj is Tendulkar

To put things in perspective, Neeraj's 87+meters throw was good for GOLD in Tokyo. And Neeraj bettered this in Paris. And is consistent. Arshad's 84+ meters was 5th and was not a medal winning throw. There were many athletes in the final 8 who had their personal best in 90s but not Neeraj. What makes Neeraj apart is he is pretty consistent. Arshad Nadeem and Peterson are bit inconsistent. Arshad luckily performed his best today. I am sure Neeraj will work hard on pushing his Personal best further in future.

Neeraj has good technique but i think Nadeem is physically stronger. Neeraj was already touching his body limits and did pretty good but arshad made his best throws today

most of neeraj fouls are intentional, only 2 are intentional, but he is strategically playing here to get more distance to surpass Nadeem throws to get the distance, unfortunately those turned fouls

I was surprised when I saw Pakistan had such a small Olympic contingent to Paris but despite having only 7 athletes, they delivered a gold medal. Quality over quantity. Pakistan did well. Very well. Spared the world from endless boasting
