This music video is showing the fear of every agents during combat, their feelings. Brimstone got the whole world on his shoulders because he's a leader of the team. He scared to not be able to deal with his leader duty. Phoenix is scared of not controlling his power and lost his identity while being a fire decoy. That's why he got the fear to be eaten by his proper power. And finally, Sage, want to be there at the right moment to heal and help his team. But she's afraid to be to late and got freeze and being incapable to help them. Every emotions that we sees translate in those animations are incredible. We can also see the players, while playing the characters with their proper fear. And that's what it means to be a team. Being afraid and to not be perfect for each other, while you can try your best to be better.
I really like the way you see it and I agree completely, but I like to see it not as an one-way street, but a two-way street. While both (the agent and the player) may have different fears, while working together they seem to help each other, it's easier to see this with the Sage scene, where the player is holding a land full of almost dead plants and sage attempts to heal it, unsuccessfully doing that and ending up frozen in the process, but eventually as she overcomes her fear of not being able to help, she helps the player who in return guide her, healing Brimstone and going for the defuse.
Also the agents and the players live in their own realities. On our universe we just play them round after round. But in theirs they have their own lives and missions etc. My guess is they didn't know Phoenix could revive with his ult that's why we see Sage healing Brim and giving him that one last look.
The main point of the song is that it shows all their fears, Brim is holding up the weight of the world, like Atlas in mythology, he refuses to let anyone bear that responsibility with him, and in the end he finally reaches out to the player to help him bear that responsibility. Phoenix is trying to always be the one who goes in first, who has to take all the fire, his fear is that he cannot be the one to go in second, he finally realises he can let that responsibility go sometimes (the passing of the orb). Sages fear is that her power will consume and control her (the player holding her island) but she realises she has to harness that power herself (her holding the island) and ultimately they (us) work together to defuse the spike. It’s about overcoming fear and difficulty in the face of adversity.
Yes phoenix catches the first shot in his ult to sacrifice himself but also sage who gave her heal to brim before running to the spike to defuse it knowing that she will probably be killed by chamber
Here’s a theory, maybe the characters that go along with each agent are their kids? That’s a maybe, but I was also thinking(due to the kid handing Phoenix that purple ball) that maybe there are the agents and then people blessed with power, maybe the people blessed with power gave up their power to the agents and now they live inside of their Corresponding agent, and before you say anything about brim, that could be someone that gives him the courage to keep returning to the battlefield. There’s also the possibility that the three people are pros or players, idk, I didn’t look into that

And albo it looks like they're asking:
Brim and sage: what do you see before its over?
Phoenix: blinding flashes getting closer
Um wait isnt a Ball that Player is giving to phoenix a Ball of ult? You know that Grey Ball you picking up from the floor?
