The motion filed by the applicant was ex parte and not on notice. BKO has to abreast himself of the facts before coming to speak on tv. Secondly, a Federal High Court does not have jurisdiction over chieftaincy matters. See the case of Tukur v. Government of Gongola State where similar Emir tussle issue was raised. It is only a state High Court that can sit on such matter. It is wrong to blindly argue that court orders should be obeyed no matter how and in what manner they are obtained. This is a clear abuse of court process by obtaining an ex parte order from a court that clearly lacks jurisdiction. The lawyers to the deposed Emir ought to be fined heavily.
