    In the concert video The Dance, you can see LB using his index finger rather than his thumb for the bass on the third chord, so definitely an option there.

    Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. It has always been a "bucket-song" for me so after a few days of working on it, I can actually get through it. The toughest part for me was that last little section. Making the transition from playing it slow when you did the walk through, to speeding it up to how it's supposed to sound, lol, my brain interpreted it as 2 different songs. A little perseverance paid off, can't wait to check the rest of it out!

    A lot easier than it sounds. If you can play some fleet wood and some John Mayer tunes you should be able to get this down kinda quick. Only thing hard was getting it to full speed and I’m still learning the syncopated part towards the end of the intro. It’s been about 3 days so the rest shouldn’t be too long. Super good lesson and tabs on his site too 👍🏽💯👍🏽

    • @dennizsvemark8415
      @dennizsvemark8415 4 роки тому +5

      Lmao thats the hard thing with the song, the tempo. The rest is super easy, it could've even been considered as a beginner song if it wasn't for the tempo.

    • @by7212
      @by7212 4 роки тому

      The only hard thing is the tempo, that is it, 140 bpm is kinda hard for me. I can easily play this at slower tempo but what's the fun I that? Literally, a person just need to be good with the picking hand to play this.

    I'm confused... Trying to learn this. Have the tab that says capo on 4th.
    But if you watch him play it live at the Saban theater in 2011.
    He has it on the 3rd fret.
    And doesn't play open E but goes back to 3rd fret E. Not like the tab! Anyone else battling this issue? Maybe he dropped it a key and changed the first pattern. So it's easier on vocal range? Anyone else notice?
