It is recorded in the Hadith that the Holy Prophet Peace be Upon Him said: "Listen! The people before you used to make the graves of their Prophets and Walis places of Sajdah.Know well!You must not make the graves places of worship,I am prohibiting you(therefrom). MISHKAAT P.29
