I really like the way you film your videos! It's a relaxed, slower way, and easy to follow. I'm sewing this pattern and after watching your video realized I printed off my pattern wrong and now it fits perfect! Thank you!
Thank you so much!! Some of my old videos are definitely less relaxed and people make comments about it all the time hahaha I’m so glad that my camera skills have improved and the videos are enjoyable to watch ❤️
Thank you so so much Francesca! I played around with a new video style so I really appreciate the encouragement 💗 I enjoyed making the video so much that I will definitely be making more like it 😊
Ahh thank you!! I really wasn’t sure that I was going to get the fit right, but the pattern is so so good. The bust cup sizing is separate from the bodice sizing, which makes getting the perfect fit super easy 🙌
What do you use the lighter for? I couldn’t tell! Really enjoying this tutorial as I’m getting ready to make one myself. And yes to pickles as a snack forever!!!
ahhhh im obsessed this came out so so nice on you! i know you used another pattern for the skirt but do you think it'd be possible to just use a large rectangle for the gathered skirt?
Thank you! And yes absolutely!! The pattern is actually just 1 rectangle for the front panel and 2 for the back since it has the center back seam where the invisible zipper goes 😊 I just chose to use the pattern pieces because I like the amount of volume and shape of the pockets from the Matilda dress 🙌
Thank you for all the love! This dress came out exactly as I’d hoped and I wear it ALL the time! I’d highly recommend making one to anyone out there that’s interested 💗
Hi! It’s the Ikea IVAR and I purchased it second hand on Facebook Market Place 😊 I also made the mat myself. Here’s a video you can check out all about it: DIY Easy Portable Ironing Mat - IKEA Ivar Hack ua-cam.com/video/EqWqnnmgjZk/v-deo.html

I also love a good matcha to sip on while sewing. And my fav pickles are Bubbies dill pickles 😜
Yeeesss yes yes to a good matcha 🍵 👏 and oooh I don’t think I’ve had Bubbies, but I love me a good dill pickle so I’ll have to try it out 🤩
I second bubbies!!
BEAUTY 😍 so psyched for you ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you thank you! 💗
Congrats on 1000 subscribers Jessica! Your dress turned out beautiful and the fit is perfect on you!

If thread or fabric has polyester in it, the lighter melts the fibers so that they’re easier to work with 😊
