@@bayronalonsoleonmatarrita2002 I tried 4.5 European cut and it was hard. If you are using close facing mouthpiece it tend to be soft. You can return it back to legere and exchange it to a higher strength.
i love the sound from the V-12 the best. I think you are right the french cut sounds brighter but it sounds good . not as good as the cane sound. I use vandoren V-12, 3 1/2 . i think i'd like to try the french cut
Yes. Thanks for your input. Will do sound comparison again. Based on this video, did you hear any sound difference? I'm trying to test my external microphone if it can pick up subtle sound difference.
Thank-you for sharing, Dominic :)!! Appreciate your time and expertise!
@@scottsater I created a new video review comparison with better audio after playing French cut for the last 6 months.
Hello, I bought a French cut reed number 4.5 and it feels like a natural number 3 reed, is that normal???

Thanks. I'd recommend playing all 3 at the end without talking. That can be done with editing. It's easier to compare with the ears.

What kind of mouthpiece are you using?
Backun Vocalise CG mouthpiece.
French cut sounds stuffy to me. European cut sounds closer to the cane.
