I know my license plate number lolol i look at it everyday it’s all over my paperwork sooo yeah learn your license plate numbers guys and always keep your local police number on hand just in case someone steals your license plate
My license plate was stolen off my utility trailer about three weeks ago !!!

I used an M6 cap screw with a nut similar to your setup. I did machine my own “washer” with a counter bore for the cap screw. It looks pretty good.

More annoying going through the process of getting another plate than the plate actually being stolen.
Honestly, you need to use a rivet, or the one way flat head screws that just have a ramp on the reverse sides. You will need to cut them off or cut a slot into the head. It won't keep someone from taking the plates, but it will make the car next to yours look a lot easier to steal.... If the "security screws" you buy, comes with a tool to remove it. Then you better believe everyone else has one.
