I'm asking a simple question, if Newton discovered gravity then what is Gurutvakarshan? AND how it is mentioned in Rig Veda which was written when Newton wasn't even born? I'm confused. How can he discover a concept or phenomenon which already exists in texts of humans and studied by an entire subcontinent? Also who discovers Earth isn't flat but round ? Galileo ? Sorry but Indians always knew Earth is round unlike Christian missionaries. No one ever claimed in here past generations that Earth is flat. If Galileo discovered Earth is round then what the heck is "Bhugol" mentioned in padmapuran and other texts written before even the century in which Newton was born?
1) Newton didn't 'discover' gravity because, as you say, everyone always knew things fall down. What he did do first was formulate (using Indian numerals) the inverse-square rule. 2) No-one ever thought the world was flat. The idea was created in the 19th century to mock stupid people by saying they were "so stupid they believed the world was flat". 3) Even if anyone had believed that, it wasn't Galileo who proved the world was round. Ancient Greeks and Egyptians, and others, not only verified that millenia ago, but also calculated its size pretty accurately. > Unfortunately, this video is not put together with any sort of quality, scientific, or historical knowledge.
I guess the first person to 'discover' gravity was the first humanoid ape that fell out of a tree back in the late Miocene.
Gravity wasn’t discovered as it was always there. It was just given a name.
Rose is the English flower, not all of the UK. Daffodil, & Thistle are Wales & Scotland. Shamrock is Ireland & NI.
Adam and Eve knew about gravity
Okay... How exactly ? What word Bible uses for gravity?
