Very interesting. Today I learned that this entire chapter is dedicated to the “Bible”. Thy word. Thy law. The testimonies. Thy commandments. Thy precepts. Thy statutes. Thy judgements. ❤️
This chapter is not about the whole Bible. It’s about God’s law. When King David wrote this chapter the New Testament didn’t exist. The Old Testament says to keep God’s law and the New Testament in Paul’s writings says not to. If you read the book of Proverbs it talks about God’s Wisdom which is his law.
You must have a good understanding of the Old Testament AND the Pharisaical traditions to know what Paul was writing about. He never once contradicts Gods Law, only the man-made traditions of the Pharisees. Look at the original Greek and it's easy to see that he was rebuking the Jewish traditions that they had put above the Torah of Elohim, just the same that Yeshua did!@@LeniGirly
As a teenage follower of Jesus Christ, I learned that lesson from my pastor and that knowledge of Ps119 stayed with me. I was amazed to find out for myself that every verse of Psalm 119 does indeed mention God's word in the terms you listed. Truly amazing!

Let's pray for everyone desperately trying to forgive and give Jesus all the pain and everything, but there's just SO much pain, they feel like they cannot see, think, or Even breathe. I know SO MANY sincere children of God who have spent years devoted to God, interceding, fasting, serving- walking in Love- who have become so beat up and worn down that they seem on the edge of whether or not they are making it through to the next day. There's a verse about the enemy/antichrist wearing down the saints of God. I believe we're seeing this. Psalm 27:13-14 [13] I had fainted, Unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. [14] Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Some of us need God to wipe our memory and give us a Sea of Forgetfulness to stop being crushed and destroyed, stop the non-stop hurting from extremely painful memories. We need to FIGHT the Good Fight of Faith and REFUSE to be victims
