Nice finished model! I did the 1/144 scale recently and I agree with you exactly, looks great when finished but I wouldn't put myself through it again. I finished mine with the 1985-1999 livery with the red line along the fuselage... trying to get 9 decals in total aligned was so tough!
Amazing finished product. My concorde model doesn't have as much detail as yours but hopefully in the future, I'll make one with all the bells and whistles. Thumbs up and I've subscribed too.
very nice work there - I am about to finally get on and start mine, it's taken me years to find the strength and patience to make all the alterations that are needed on this model. Was there a reason you left the front undercarriage in the wrong position? Braz Resin shall one day be producing a corrected nose cone and visor for this kit but I've given up waiting for this and shall be making a best effort to correct the visor. Well done to you for enduring all the filling etc - she's turned out very nicely.
it looks great, I have one coming. Was only £25 so couldn't refuse. This is actually a Heller kit from 2004, not revell. Airfix have also released it in the past.
I know this is a very old review now but I am looking at it as I am half way through building this kit at the moment and need some encouragement to stop me throwing the whole thing away. As you say nothing fits. I have done more filling and sanding than I would have done painting a full size car body. Having fought the nose and the wing joints I am now fighting the engines, the sections don't fit each other and also the engines don't fit the trailing edge of the wings and there is a horrible step, so more filling and contouring. I've also found the panel lines very ill defined and soft and not lining up across the joints of the parts. I must say though you have made a very good job of building this model and I am now determined to finish mine. All in all I think this is the worst kit I have ever made and could not recommend it to anyone.
In real life concord was onley classed as a small aircraft she onley caread 144 passengers I've flown on concord from New York to Heathrow in 1998 whot a experience Mac 2 at 60 000ft wots Moore thay had my favourite suop on bord which is cream of tomato
Anyone who makes a half decent model out of that kit deserves a medal so well done Guy it looks good.
Okay, now im xicted :D Is this the "04997 - Concorde British Airways" ? I need to build this after all the comments here :D
True. Im going through it. So mucj putty and sanding over and over untill its perfect...

I haven't decided which scale yet, since I've already made one in the 1/72 scale. Currently, I am working on a boeing 767 in 1/100 scale.

I honestly was not great at building back then so I probably glued it in the wrong position haha.
Good luck with your build.

Colin Johnston it is revell...
Dad remembers seeing this go overhead whilst he was at Live-Aid , Phil Collins was onboard I believe
Wow, that's a 1/72nd? I've just started a 1/72nd YF-16A and it's tiny compared to that. Concorde must've been quite a big bird.
Thanks for the update just bought one oh dear
Unable to find this kit on ebay or elsewhere :(
thank you for sharing, the revell one is not available anymore, is it the same airfix?

How is everyone getting it so cheap here? I can only find offers on it for 120€+ on Ebay.... insane price, but I want it so bad!
Great work!Congrats!
Fantastic job
Do the landing gears retract? Because I’m thinking about buying one myself.
I think you can try
oh I meant to ask, did you do anything to fill the windows?
Also how big is the model from end to end?
Thank you
its big, about 60cm
It's almost 90cm long
85cm
Do the wheels spin?

That was the highest I've ever eat a bowel of tomato soup
I bought this model for only 20 quid on amazon
Mine was £25 or something
The Airfix is just as bad !!
Same kit. Heller as well. Both reboxed by Revell
