I wish they would incorporate this into an episode of supernatural. Just have an episode where Sam and Dean are hunting a monster in a bullet train and Sam ends up stopping *all the trains in Europe!* XD
150 euros paid for stopping all the trains in northern Europe....because of his wife's bag. People do stupid things for love, and Jared must be crazily in love with Genevieve. Lol
He only stopped them because he'd messed up and left her bag behind. Any man who actually brings all the luggage onto the train tops this automatically.
This has to be the most insane story I've ever heard, and it's Jared's story, which makes it better! Omg, I can't even process Jared's adorableness right now for stopping every train in Europe for his wife's bag XD
Oh my God, I can't believe this right now xD imagine if this made it to the news xD like "supernatural star jared padalecki stops all trains of europe because of his wife's bag" xDDD Also can I just say he is just adorable?
to anyone who was late being somewhere because of this.... its the do not push buttons fault. or u could literally have said "im late because jared padalecki pushed the dont push button"
Ce serait vraiment super top cool d'avoir la version de Richard en sous-titré (pour les pas doués de l'anglais comme moi ^^) ! En tous cas, grand merci pour toutes ces vidéos ! :)
When he said that the guy didn't say any units of measurement for the amount of money it would cost, did he really say drachmas? As in the currency in the Percy Jackson series? XD
This actually was a really great story!!! I thought it was going to be like a 5 min story and then other questions, but it honestly had me laughing throughout. He's friggin hilarious.
Hahahahahahaha, classic Jared! Who else could get away with that situation in such a yeepee yappy way?! Dem boys must have a whole legion of angels surrounding them!
He is just so sweet, despite the fact that he's completely clueless about trains (there are people walking around in the train to check your tickets, ask them dude, is that the first train you've taken in your life ever?) and Europe (you were in the Netherlands! You didn't stop the trains of France and Germany and Belgium and so on and so forth and not all of the Netherlands either! I'll give it to you for dramatic effect but com'on!)...
I'm from the Netherlands and it sounds like a big deal when the whole train system gets stopped or messed up, but honestly, this happens like at least a few times a week. The railway system is hopelessly planned. About very day we deal with delays, which cause a chain reaction that usually ends in trains falling out. So yeah, they really can't ask people for more than 150 euros xD It's so fun to hear him talking about it, though. I can exactly imagine how it must've happened :)
I had never taken a train before until I went to Europe for the first time (I'm American) so maybe he hadn't. And sometimes those guys are hanging out behind a locked door for a while, when they aren't walking through the train. They disappear sometimes. Plus he panicked. Obviously it didnt stop ALL the trains in Europe, but I imagine all of the trains in and out of Amsterdam, particularly on the route to Germany, (which is alot of trains) for the next few hours were off-schedule/delayed
I can count on one hand the number of times I've had my ticket checked in America and it's only slightly more often in Canada (I take the train in Canada a lot). They don't check them right away anyway, as I said. Jared was clearly freaking out in the first 5-10 minutes of the trip, long before the employees come out of the woodwork. and he was FREAKING OUT as in not thinking rationally at the time.
Oh poor Jared, the sweetie. This kind of reminds me of when I was in Toronto with my friend, we had to get on a train to go back to his collage residence from the mall and I'm from Newfoundland so we don't have train here and I barely know the bus routes so I'm shit with public transportation. Anyways, it was starting to get late so we tried to rush to get on this train and the first thing I obviously asked was "Where do we pay for our tickets?" to which he responds to "Oh no, we don't need to pre-pay, we can do that on the train." and I'm here looking around seeing that everyone is at machines paying for their tickets and I'm getting that gut feeling of 'nopennopenope, Tiffany this is a bad idea you have to pay for the tickets.' but of course I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and trust him that he knew what he was doing and we needed to get back quickly. "...Alright, if you say so. You've done this before on THIS train, right?" "No not on this one, but I've done it a million times on other trains." and the look I gave him was just screaming 'are you fucking kidding me?' "...Are you POSITIVE, 100% SURE this is okay?" "Yes, we're fine!" Anyways we go on the train and when it gets going the workers start going around checking the tickets and EVERYONE has theirs out. Around this time he starts to regret his life choices and start mentally kicking myself for not putting my foot down and forced him not to be lazy and pay for our tickets before we board. When the guy comes around asking us for our ticket my friend is there like "Can we pay for them on the train? All the other one you can." and the mans facial expression just says 'Is this little bitch serious?' he was 700% done "...No. You have to pay before you board." "Oh..." Then the mans says "This is going to be a $100 fine, you need to pay for this at court." Needless to say my heart dropped into my stomach and all I could think was 'fuckfuckfuckfuckFUCK I only have three more days here, do I have pay for this in Toronto or can I do it in Newfoundland?' Another worker comes up to us and takes me aside and asks me some questions of "Whats your name? Where are you from? Is the guy you are with your boyfriend? (to which I answered with a definitive "NO") Where were you heading?" and the other man was asking my friend the same questions just to make sure our answers lined up and what not. When I went back to my seat the first worker handed us a slip of paper and said "I'm going to let you off the hook, you don't need to pay the fine but for the love of god don't let this happen again." I think it goes without saying that I have never been more embarrassed in my life. We then get to our stop we need to take another quick train ride to get to his residence but I refused to get on another train with him so we walked an hour and a half to the bus station, which I knew the system after being on it about twenty times in the past five days. So yea, that was my train adventurers! And I'm going to Europe with this dude in two weeks and I swear to Chuck if something like this happens again if we are over seas............ Actually this wont ever happen again because I wont let it.
In America they don't really check the tickets that often and in England (I don't know about the Netherlands) the tickets don't have your name on them AND they don't check them right out of the gate, it takes about 20-30 minute for them to go around.
Oh my god, I was there that day! I was at Amsterdam waiting for my train to come that day, but all the trains had stopped and we could go nowhere. And I was cursing the guy who had done this, but had I known it was Jared, I would have probably used it to corner him and get his autograph or something. I did arrive at school too late though.
"Babe, if it's 150 000 euros, I'm just going to run. I love you. I got my phone. I'll be in Europe." I had no idea Jared was that hilarious, awesome..!
Are you kidding? Every time I've taken a North-American train I got my ticket checked. In England and in the Netherlands and in France and Germany and Belgium, it's the same, it takes some time, but it doesn't mean there's no one on the train except for the driver: there's always someone else.
God, I was in Amsterdam that day, and none of the trains were moving for almost an hour.. I all I did was curse this idiot who had done this. Boy, if I had known this was the guy who'd done this...
actually the conversion rate changes constantly. I dont know when the story itself took place, but when this video was uploaded 150p euros was more like $213.
LOOK HERE! LOOK! there's another video of this with better sound and an extra ending about mark s. and jensen's reactions. and here it is! well, the exact title that is. "Supernatural Boscon 2011- Jared's train story" its 13 minutes and 50 seconds long
I love how, in times of panic, Jared just pushes the "DO NOT PUSH" button.
I wish they would incorporate this into an episode of supernatural. Just have an episode where Sam and Dean are hunting a monster in a bullet train and Sam ends up stopping *all the trains in Europe!* XD
somebody send this in! :D
150 euros paid for stopping all the trains in northern Europe....because of his wife's bag.
People do stupid things for love, and Jared must be crazily in love with Genevieve. Lol
You pushed the button that you weren't supposed to push, I'M SO PROUD OF YOU, JARED, YOU DEFIED AUTHORITY!
Jared literally stopped all the trains in Europe for his wife. Who can ever top that.
Nobody. Nobody can top that.
Also, Jared is a freaking magnificent husband, I swear.
A magnificent husband would never have left her bag out there in the first place.
Derpy Derp
Because husbands aren't allowed to make mistakes? Seriously?
"...and I push the 'do not push the button' button." That is my favorite thing ever now.
"You didn't stop the train, you stopped ALL the trains."
*dead*
"No, you didn't stop one train, you stopped all the trains" 😂😂 I love Jared so much lmao. Jared is me. I am Jared. We are one
Swear to God, if it wasn't from this guy's mouth, I would have thought this was an "I Love Lucy" episode.
"...pushed the 'do-not-push-the-button' button..." LOL
He's a wonderful storyteller - that had me laughing out loud several times and that doesn't happen often.
Jared's a great storyteller!
Oh my God, I can't believe this right now xD imagine if this made it to the news xD like "supernatural star jared padalecki stops all trains of europe because of his wife's bag" xDDD
Also can I just say he is just adorable?
wow. he is a fantastic story teller! I love how he was so into the story himself! haha he's the best :)
He's sooooo cute, brave and awkward at the same time
HILARIOUS!! This will be a fantastic episode on supernatural !!
He honestly deserved a Husband Of The Year award for that. Jared Padalecki: Outstanding husband, and now a daddy!
Love this story. Jared is adorable..the quintessential American tourist.
to anyone who was late being somewhere because of this.... its the do not push buttons fault. or u could literally have said "im late because jared padalecki pushed the dont push button"
That would be an awesome excuse.
I find it funny that Jensen happens to be absence this time that Jared messed up. Maybe Jared needs Jensen as much Sam needs Dean. Maybe?
On a scale of one to stopping all the trains in Europe, how bad did you mess up?
And that folks is how you tell a story!!
On screen, Dean may be my favorite, but off screen Jared may be my favorite person ever.
man is there any member of this cast that doesn't have issues omg
No. No there is not.
I did not expect this story to be as entertaining as it was.
Best.Husband. Ever.
He should win an award for this.
best fourteen minutes of my life. my gosh i love you jared
That proud look on his face when somebody tells him he's a good husband xDDDD
When he said that the guy didn't say any units of measurement for the amount of money it would cost, did he really say drachmas? As in the currency in the Percy Jackson series? XD
Actually, drachmas were as a currency used in Greece till 2002. :D
yeah basically
This actually was a really great story!!! I thought it was going to be like a 5 min story and then other questions, but it honestly had me laughing throughout. He's friggin hilarious.
OMG! That's Hilarious! XD
& Only 150 Euros To Stop The Train System? ...I Might Have To Try That! ;P
you must remember: this is Jared. he'd kinda take all possibilities- especially when he's panicking XD
Wow he's a really great story teller!
That was, like, the best story ever told.
It's official, Jared is the best husband ever.
He's a great storyteller.
he's a great story teller

Oh my god. I have not laughed this hard in a long time!! In fact, I'm still laughing.
"I push the 'do not push the button' button" XD
He is just so sweet, despite the fact that he's completely clueless about trains (there are people walking around in the train to check your tickets, ask them dude, is that the first train you've taken in your life ever?) and Europe (you were in the Netherlands! You didn't stop the trains of France and Germany and Belgium and so on and so forth and not all of the Netherlands either! I'll give it to you for dramatic effect but com'on!)...
Oh my god I am like crying from laughing so hard at this story "Baby, if it's 150,000 euros, I'm just gonna run" LOL
Oh ptn vous m'entendez rire jusqu'au pole nord svp x'D
Il m'a tué ommg x'D
Jared, you're amazing^^ :D I haven't laughed like that for ages :D
Richard's side of the story is hilarious The Great Train Stop: Richard Speight Jr's story
I'm from the Netherlands and it sounds like a big deal when the whole train system gets stopped or messed up, but honestly, this happens like at least a few times a week. The railway system is hopelessly planned. About very day we deal with delays, which cause a chain reaction that usually ends in trains falling out. I don't speak French, but I'm reading the subtitles :P
This story though, is pure genius. He's amazing :)

J'adore réécouter cette histoire XD
I've honestly laughed myself to tears. Oh, Jared, you're such a spaz! Adorable, but a spazz none the less. =}

Basically he ended up paying $205 and some change
argella1300 He spent more than that on the coin prank, I'm sure he can spare $205
actually the conversion rate changes constantly. I dont know when the story itself took place, but when this video was uploaded 150p euros was more like $213.
I wish, oh how I wish I would go to Germany by train these year 😍😍😍

C'est trop mignon ce qu'il a fait pour récupérer le sac de sa femme! Quitte à stopper tous les trains d'Europe xD. Il est trop drôle, je veux le même !
He's such a good husband
